It's cool and all the person getting the item, but from a sellers stand point I really hate that, this just happened to be recently guy bought one Lik and got opal silk.

I look at it like one less buyer and one more competitor to sell Lik.

Lame, why can't people just buy forever?

Eh, I'm not to worried, was actually a bit relieved, I have 4 people still on a list buying these fish off of me, and when theres two on aty once both wanting 15-20 liks each and another wanting 10 gugs, it gets a little @_@;

I've also noticed that with high rates like that I get more people interested, "Hey I heard your fish went 1/1 for my friend on ebisu item, I'd like to buy some :D"

The nature of the Ebisu quest just make it lose value over time.
As more people got the rod, more people to reel Lik / Gug on regular basis, more fish on the market, chepear prices, more purchases, more Ebisus...

I made it to 97.x.

I've been just fishing for profit, and I'm going to get to 100 on Lik's (hopefully) as soon as I finish rumors.

Grats man :D I just fish when I get on for NPC profit myself; the lack of Ebisu makes me a sad panda for real. XD Especially since I'm on a server where profit margins over Lik and Gug can be huge.

How is the bite rate on Trumpet Shells? Is one place better fishing than the other bridges?

Terrible, even on good moons (like 6~12 shells an hour). I guess if you have the spare time you could turn it into something when the AH is low on them however.

Ah ok. So far I've been fishing for abut 17 minutes and have 6 of them. Was trying to decipher if that was actually decent or horrible. I've been fishing istiridye but skillups have been horrible for me there. Just trying a change of scenary.

Well they could be decent at times, maybe 6-12 was shooting a bit low, but that's the usual for them. If you don't mind the larger HP they have as well they should be good for a change of scenery, yeah. :D

Back in July my husband and I fished together on trumpets - him for skill, me for money (we have a bone mule). In 10 hours, he caught ~80 (45 fishing) and I caught ~180 (91 fishing). It seemed like a small number of fish for the time he spent, but he got a level and a half of skill on them that day. =)

yay finally... took me a really long time, thanks to anyone here who gave me advice, and even the others

Some funny stats :

I successfully reeled in 112 Cave cherax to go from 99.0 to 100 (didn't count the lines snapped, broke lu shang once).
I traded 109 CC to zaldon, got 39 Dwarf pugils.

I keep biggest and smallest in case i want to try a fishing contest '-'
Currently i have :
* 230 - 1170 (biggest size and weight i have)
* 129 - 656 (smallest size i have)
* 131 - 640 (smallest weight i have)

Now for the Ebisu... xD

Yeah that's why I recommend trumpet shells, as low as the bite rate is on them, I did note an extraordinarily high skillup rate compared to other fish.

And I have a 233 CC kept just in case...
35% Dwarf Pugil drop for you. Not bad.

ended up catching 30 Trumpet Shells before I had to log. Was maybe 1 hour and 30 minutes of total fishing. I got .6 in skillups as opposed to 189 Istiridye in Nash without any skillups. Yes for some strange reason Nashmau hates me. Plus I'd rather fish a little longer and make decent profit. On my server Istiridyes sell SLOW as opposed to Trumpet Shells which are high in demand.

I have a question: For the prereqs on Inside the belly, I have started The Sand Charm and finished Under the Sea/The Gift, my dillema is getting The Real Gift, do i need to finish The Sand Charm?
