Well, I can tell you Nash is a pile of shite, I fished there for days and only got like .3 total.
T.cove seems much better, but I'm nearing the cap there (at 91) and it takes so long to get there T_T
I think 90+ you really need skillup ring to help you get through those last few levels which seem to drag.
I'm thinking of going for the stammina ring and getting last few levels while working on Ebisu.

Also, does anyone know what I can single out Emperor fish in Lufaise? All I seem to be getting is Dark Bass with Trout Balls. Q_Q

I haven't fished in a bit, not to much sit down and focus on it. But ive been doing those mercanbiligi's(sp) the breams of aht urghan. i got pretty decent skillup their, honestly a level a day and im 66 now i believe. I never tried T cove, to lazy to go out their lol. Maybe because you were going for those Pergosaurus or whatever they are you had some bad skillup.

Wow, very big congrats min. I did shall shells for 35-40, and then couldn't sell them. So I stopped that, and I've just been fishing for gil. Did 40-58 in SSG, takes 3 mules to sell all of the grimms consistantly, but its really paying off. Finally hit Craftsman, and I've been saving up Guild points for SR when I get there ><.

I thouhgt you didn't need SR for Ebisu now, if you have Albatros ring?

You don't need mooching, Serpent Rumors is required to even get the fish to bite. Without serpent rumors you will never even hook one. It is like chocobo digging. Without a chocobo w/ the enhanced digging abilities you cant dig a few items up.

Ranked in at 27th. Damn Bhefel Marlins that everyone and their mom fishes. -- I did get .2 .2 .1 fishing in Talacca Cove though last night.

I'm currently at 120k GP and trying to decide if I should trade in for the Map when I can or just go for 200k and get the signpost or w/e it's called. I know it doesn't do anything without the 150k furnishing, but I kinda want to get it out of the way first. =x

That kind of answers my question about why this morning after fishing for 1/2hr I didn't get even a single bite from a Lik. >_>

Beginner fisher... wondering does anyone notice substantial differences with pelican ring. I just got Pelican ring today... and I am wondering is it worth the effort I spent convincing a friend to fish me up the required fish for contest.

A fishing friend helped me get my pelican ring and man the skillups fly in. Getting 2 on one fish was a bit of a shock. Really helping me out and I haven't been fishing *that* long. Did a bit when I levelled cooking some.
