Testing was done at 78.4 Fishing skill. 79 was obtained with Boots, 80 was obtained with Boots and Pants, 81 Obtained with Boots, Pants, and Gloves, 82 Obtained with Boots, Pants, Gloves, and Body. Bait used was Meatball. Albatross Ring active for all fish for more time to observe. Lightningsday Waning Gibbous (93%)

Just curious, I am like 34.8 or 9 +4 (fishing gear). I am fishing Bhefhel Marlins (sucks no skillups atm). I did just catch a ryugu titan O_o. Is this normal, or did i just get seriously lucky. I got an Albatross ring last night, I am using the charges. I am fishing with a Lu Shangs + sliced bluetail. I just wanna know was that a fluke or a good catch or something lol.

You got lucky, I tried to catch one at 60 and I got 3 rod breaks before I decided to leave them alone.

Also, you might want to hold on that Albatross Ring for future use, you shouldn't need one to reel Marlins. (Zaldon is being a faggot with Marlins for me, might be different for you though)

I got friends who buy out the entire ah and anywhere for marlins. Yesterday I sold them 15 marlins for 2k each. They got 3 pirates charts out of them. I was an idiot the first time and had light luggage on and lost 1 alba ring. I reset 2 hours with cor and got another ring. They told me I can have all the rings I want. Plus they do this a lot so I figure I am in good standing and should be able to get rings no problem. They said they'd save the brigand's chart for me so I can get the other ring.

The only thing that is sucking is I haven't gotten a skillup in about 80 fish.

I'm fishing Lik, and this GIANT dragon thing just swooped down from the sky over the water, skimmed the top of the water and then cut up and vanished into the clouds. A few seconds later I saw him flying around in the horizon.

Try to target/trade him a piece of giant sheep meat. You've gotta be quick, but if you succeed, he'll give you a free lik (supposedly one he just caught while skimming the lagoon).

It's really, really tough to do, and the only chance you'll have is by using a macro.

This was from a while ago, when I was just going for brigand's/did want to bother with Pirate's charts. Sometimes it takes a while, while other times they just get thrown at you.

So after fishing Marlins, I decided at 35+4 to go try Ahtapots and Mercanbaligi because I've heard that they are easy to catch. Well after a few days of no skillups I got to Nashmau and am catching them with no issues. Already gotten .4 in the first 6 or so fish. Gonna keep this up for a while just because its decent money.
