Sinking Minnow will get a lot of non-ptery fish but still have plenty of "You didn't catch anythings" depending on whatever else is affecting fishing (moon phase/fatigue etc).

Lugworks are nice because they come in a belt to minimize inventory, and they will target Ptery's and Rusty's only.

Oh man, I never thought of the belt! I always just bought mine at the guild in WG before I ran to Nashmau... now I'm stuck with like 10 stacks of lug worms and my cheap ass doesn't want to NPC them back for less than I bought them. Maybe I'll put them in my husband's inventory and tell him he has to skill up faster and use them for fishing Pterygotus. =)

Totally on a different topic: Has anyone ever fished Rhinochimera? Great Blue says you can catch them at the "Other Seaside" w/ a Sinking Minnow but doesn't have a map. I was thinking of making/taking my husband fish there I could get them for synths and he could skill, but I'm not sure exactly where in the zone would be the best place to go. I don't think I've really explored Arra other than when I got the staging points...

Testing was done at 78.4 Fishing skill. 79 was obtained with Boots, 80 was obtained with Boots and Pants, 81 Obtained with Boots, Pants, and Gloves, 82 Obtained with Boots, Pants, Gloves, and Body. Bait used was Meatball. Albatross Ring active for all fish for more time to observe.

Nah, was just curious if Pter's auto depleted at 78. Last thing someone needs to find out is official cap for ryugus through testing auto-regen, but I'll re-type directions on that later for someone in the low-mid 70s. Thanks

Hmmm, this is weird that lu shang is getting auto regen on ptery when it is within -24 below fish's cap.

What is a good program to slow down my FPS? I am fine in Nashmau since there are ppl there fishing but on the ferry I'm receiving 29-29.7 constant and marlins are being a pain. When there are pirates and other people around I get about 14 which is easy to real them in.

Congrats! The low 90s were a bear for me, but 99-100 was quick here too. It actually sort of sucks when you hit 100, all the line breaks now have no meaning other than wasted time.
