is there a command to type in-game to release a fish? I tried /release with no luck.

I'm using a g11 keyboard and have /fish bound to G18 so when I get a no bite I don't have to minimize firefox or bring ffxi to the forefront to re-cast. I was hoping there was a way to /release a bite without flipping back to the game and hitting escape.

You could try binding the Esc Key to G17(or whatever) so you don't have to focus everytime.

How would I do that? I know binds belong in init.txt since I bound heal.txt to control H, but how do I bind a specific keys "attributes" to another key?

Meh, actually nevermind.. "alias m#g# escape" will bind the escape key to whatever g key you want, but since the escape key is not FFXI only it won't work when not focused.

So, I am back full time(fishing anyways) Doing my time getting in around 3hrs+ a day of fishing. Shoudl i spam GPs to get the 200k GP item or hit up the feet with skill+2 1st? is the 200k GP item better? I fish mostly lik, hardly any gugs^^

edit: I have around 140k worth of points. so im close to getting anything.

small sample size and shit, but that +1 upgrade from normal feet to waders isn't doing much for me. Been keeping track of gugs I hit enter on when they're fully depleted, Oh ya, it's always with paid support as well.

Iv played like the last 4 days without my friend even logging on lol, yet to get a hold of him(mostly because I am to lazy) He does not play much as it is. So im view it as a split account ~_~ He is sorta like me now, plays it for fun, could care less if he gets gear and what not. anything that comes our way is just nice.

Also not like he does any fishing, I asked and he said he did not even try the rod out once. So my baby needs some love.
