Nothing can be added to change the drop rates of rings/charts really, do any maze if you want rings. Lost and Found just changes the drop chart for runes, but combined with Conditioning Contract? I'd like to know myself

I got a 108 today. Have to find out what it will do tomorrow.

Im using 94, 103, 104, 108. I want to keep using 85, but there's no room for it with 108 qq.

I entered, caught a leech (hoping for a pugil I could turn in for the quick 100 points), ran around until it disappeared, and then after a couple casts, "Emergency Evacuation Procedure Initiated!". Only 4 minutes had passed, and neither team had even turned in a single fish... I'm tempted to call a GM, but I doubt that'll be helpful at all.

Not that there's anything that can be done. I'm just curious now, and bitter that 4 C.C. points just flew down the drain at breakneck speed.

Ouch. Never seen that, but I have gotten the "waiting to enter maze" for like 10 minutes followed by "an invisible hand of darkness prevents you from entering". BS

This was during one of our early runs when we were still figuring it out, so ignore my newbish party chat. They only had 1500ish when they suddenly won. We never lost one after that in any event.

Fish ranking was Cave Cherax this week on Carbuncle, so fished up a bunch of them for myself and others. At the moment, I have 125 Dwarf Pugil, so I'm thinking now might be a good time to start fishing Matsya (so I can at least mule them over and regain some inventory).

I'll probably go in guns-a-blazin', 100.0+4 & Moglification & Adv. Support & Albatross/Penguin Ring combo, but I have a few questions:

1. I have mooching, so will using ex bait AND albatross ring at the same time be redundant (since mooching + ex bait = increases fighting duration)? Or should I use penguin/seagull ring combo instead? Not that it's going to make a difference, I'll still hopefully drain them easily, but just curious.

2. What would be the best time (or even best location?) to fish them? Does it matter whether it's full/new/whatever moon phase? I know the only other thing that will bite besides mobs and items are jellyfish, so not sure whether going on a fullmoon would increase jellyfish and matsya bites equally, or whether one would bite more often than the other.

3. How many matsya can I expect to successfully reel in after 125 bait? Obviously there will be lost bait due to other bites, as well as line snaps. (Speaking of, I'll be sure to reel in any items that get on my line to keep my bait).

What should I be fishing with, and which ponds for the best results? I was using Salinity Shifted maze with MMM Rod + large meatballs and fishing the goblin room pond and west pond, and it seemed to work okay, but the incredibly slow rate at which I get fish makes me feel I'm doing something wrong, or that I just need to find someone to duo it with.

Well just got Heron's ring. Entered by myself with a completely blank M08, the 3 creepy ginger kids ran off, and I went straight for the main pond with frog lure. Fished up 7 giant catfish and won 3,330 to 1150.

I'm trying to remember what I used at the pond to the side to catch black eels, I think worm lure? I remember going in with just 2 lures, one for main pond, one for pond to the side. I swear it was worm + frog. If you are trying for extra marbles and stuff I'm not your guy, I got rings off blank mazes.

EDIT FOUND OLD POST:

I've seen 2x Seagull's and 1x Heron from fairly basic freshwater runs. Like I said before, I'd just go directly to the main pond with frog lure until it was empty, then moved to small pond to the left with worm lure. Pretty easy wins generally.

I only do freshwater mazes, so I can't help you with the saltwater ones.

The freshwater is pretty easy to solo; I've won about 50% of the ones I've done solo (currently Fishing 53). A few days ago, I started duoing MMM with an LS member, and it's no contest. We win like in 3 minutes.

Just stick with sinking minnow at the main pond for giant catfish, and if you have to move, use worm lure at the west/second pond to get black eel and monke-onke.

Thanks, I'll give it another go tomorrow using lures instead of MMM Bait with a freshwater and see how it goes.
