As for matsya, SE has hinted at us being able to use them for something in the future. I'm guessing they have a plan for them at a much higher level thus they are not zaldonable yet. I'm not expecting it til at least level 95~99 update, possibly further after that.

Anyone tried abyssea-mis yet? I might hit that up tonight

Wasn't really a hint, at fan fest in 08' they outright told us to hang on to our Matsya's because they'll be available to gut soon. Now it's 2010 and theyre not >.> dicks.

Friend took up fishing on my suggestion (He got addicted oi) but he stayed on the ferry catching Noble to roughly 52. They sell for 17k a stack on our server now (yay tav taco inflations) which is a good alt to shall shells if you want to try that seeing as they cap at 66.

Any recommendations on what I should be looking to target next now I've only go a level left on these shells?

I would level in Nashmau 52-85 on Lu+Shrimp for Merc's and athapot fishing. Then 85 you can either go Merc-Dil-Athapot in Talaca cove up to 95-96, or switch to lugworms in Nashmau in order to isolate Pterygotus. Pter's cap at 99 i believe.

Well considering the only time you can increase weaponskill damage would be when you're using a weaponskill... that'd be a pretty dumb latent. I'm guessing it's something different.

He only caught 1 Titantic Sawfish that night for various (mostly stupid, we made fun of him a lot lol) reasons, so no idea on the rate - sorry!

I can confirm its NOT 100%. LS member turned in 4 and got nothing.

Going to be fishing for these again today so I'll update.

Is there a rest timer on zones that have been fished out?

Must have been about 6 people trying to catch Trumpets and I was having no luck with anything on the other bridges.

Zones can definitely be fished out, I'm pretty sure it resets every game day.
