I can tell you that with the other crafts, all three furnishings are needed to get the mega boost. I don't see why the aura strength would matter, except for the piece that ultimately brings about the final moglification (presumably the stall). That said, I don't know that anyone has tested and compared the 50k item with the 150k item. I have no idea how the 50k one works in the equation. Might be better going to the crafting thread to ask about that. I wouldn't assume the aura strength has anything to do with it, anyway. It's also worth noting that I have Mega Moglification: Fishing, despite only owning the stall.
Speaking of furnishings, it'd be nice to get some auto-regen/neutral/draining values on fish above 100 skill, in order to try to narrow down the values of the furniture.
If you have it with stall only then forget the signboard!
If you have furnishings with aura strength stronger than your fishing stuff then you won't get fishing moghancement/moglification. Hence the map is better than the big one so you have more storage options. But if you can get Mega with just the stall, then I don't see the point in any of that other crap.

I'll test strength later. I also plan on getting the net GP item once I accrue 50k more GPs, so I'll test then as well if it adds another +1.
I'm not so sure that Mega Moglification includes Moglification. Trying to finish the push to 100 on cheraxes, and they definitely seem harder to pull up with MM than they do without the stall in place.
On the other hand, it may be because I've never quite understood what Moglification did other than someone calling it a "penguin ring-like effect"....
So far we have 5 furnishing that seem to pertain to fishing skill;
Fishing net/lure
The Big One
Fishing Hole Map
Signboard
Fishermen's Stall
If the stall follows the pattern of signboard, all of these by themselves should just give the tier 1 mogehancement.
In order to hit tier 2 you need the stall + 1 tier 1 item, which would be the fishing hole map, the big one, and I'm willing to bet the lure/bait set. Once these two combine you get moglification.
Finally if you stack on top of that the stall you get super moglification.
It could also be very possible the lure/net furnishing is a cheaper tier 2 furnishing to use instead of the sign, allowing you to get moglification for only 50K gp but with a much MUCH lower cap on your energy, making it hard to put other furniture in your house without overriding the moglification.
Wherease the sign has a very high potency meaning you can put lots of other furniture in your house without worry of overriding and letting you increase the strength of your house's aura, though I believe testing has shown that a stronger tier aura has little to no effect on the moglification? yes/no?
Basically:
Tier 1:
The Big One
Fishing hole Map
Tier 2:
Signboard
Tier 3:
Fishing Stall
Tier ?:
Lure and Net
Tier 1 + Tier 2 = Moglification
Tier 1 + Tier 2 + Tier 3 = super moglification
So all that remains is to figure out where lure and net fit in this group.
but crux has mega moglification with just stall?
I see that now, hmmm.
Well it appears SE has broken everything I held dear regarding moghancements. It's out the window atm but maybe there's some kind of stackign effect required for the moglifications?
That or maybe its a glitch and SE just fucked up, which I could see happening to fishing only because unlike the other guilds our moglification system is a bit more complex due to The Big One.
So you can either choose "easier to pull up fishes" or "quicker rod response on catch/no catch". That's harsh.
Well ok that settles it. With the talk of signboard having no effect if you have stall I'm just going to spend my GP on the uh whatever item it is that you need for that. As bite speed + sounds better than stamina drain+.
Not sure if having more makes the mega moglification stronger, but I have ONLY the stall and have mega moglification: fishing. I have zero other fishing GP items nor do I have a big one.
73-77 with lu has auto-regen on titanictus. Have to level up some more.........
Looks like this is another example of taking wiki for granite. So if this is the case then what is the point of all the other furniture when you can just get top tier moghancement for a fraction of the GP?
Their has to be more to this moglification thing, I don't see SE handing us an item for a fraction of the GP that is far superior to what would be, what? nearly 300K GP to get something thats sub par.
I'm betting you get something even better if you put everything together. It wouldn't make sense for it to be as is...
Wow crocodilos is difficult o_o...... I can't do it without albatross, and i keep getting lack of skill message Q_Q
