I'm going to get the pele ring first since I'm guessing. Also wiki lists robber rig which I'm using atm but is that a good lure or do I want to be using something else...?

I just bought the noddy ring lol. I'm only fishing up the crocs because there's no puffins on AH..... and I can see why. This is nuts, though the biterate with meatball is pretty good.

Always the downside to being lucky is being weighed down by the leftovers. I don't want to just toss them, thats like a whole 'nother chance at another ring right there! I might trade the ring to a friend tomorrow and trade the rest of the fish in, if I get a second ring I'll just AH it, :D

I don't know how badly I want the other ring, is it even possible to take down matsya without ring buffs? I have enough trouble with penguin+Alby, but with neither of them to max usage of my bait I dunno...

If anything the +bite rate ring should make getting the cherax a lot faster, potentially making it easier to gather the bait together.

I'm thinking the rings might be better put to use on a big fish that gives something nice, but I don't need any ring support to take down. Maybe Titan or the ele ore fish? Hmmm

Anyways, I'm gonna do some testing with this ring on cherax later, try and get some real solid numbers parsed on just what it does. I wouldn't be surprised if SE trolled us and the ring actually just increases the chance of pulling in a legendary fish with high weight/length.

So what bait do I use for these other guys...? Wiki does say robber rig but my experience says thats probably like a 2% bite rate, so am I wanting the paste or insect? I'm going to try paste first I guess and see how that goes.

If you're talking about bait for fishing Pelazoea, the best is probably shell bugs. I got a 10/12 bite/cast rate using that as bait.

Does a Puffin Ring help the bite rate on Haks? I'd assume in conjunction with the +1 gear + stable + signboard the bite rate / stamina depletion would be better than someone with out mega moglification...? Any thoughts?

From my experience crocs were a pretty obvious stamina fish, felt a lot like a cross between lik and gug.

These guys are pretty easy to stamina fish over monsters. Currently have 20ish pelas Im gonna go trade in, wish me luck.

Ok so what exactly is the system we're using to determine the exact level of a fish via stamina fishing?
