Takitaro of course :)
I did a bit of rod breaking but that was annoying as hell, like the low level rods

I also think I am getting the strength message more often on titans than on hakuryu. Like 3/5 of them I am getting the this strength message.
Yea i got that message todaywas awesome haha
That's because titan's should be like level 104 and hakuryu should be closer to 120
No it's easy you just kill mobs in the zone.
I am thinking hakuryu killed the ebisu fish market. Gugs and liks were 10k on my server until I put my extra gugs(26) up on ah for 20k and they all sold within 4 hours. I was surprised they were 10k in the first place as back when I did my ebisu I was buying them for up to 27k a piece. 10k is definitely underpriced when you can fish haks for the same $ and not even need a buyer.
Saw some of them being bazaar'ed in selbina for 22k each. Was like..wtf did bahamut bring those over >.>;...
IDK tho~
Trying to figure out what the 2nd ID means~![]()
Could be what fish it is?
na, other fish uses the same ID. Plus it only goes up by 20's
This also bugs me
Isn't that just the weirdest thing? and if its not the 2nd ID it's the first:Bastore Sardine x1 (Normal) : 13-140-21-10
Bastore Sardine x1 (Angler's Senses) : 13-140-21-7 (Reduction of 3)
Bastore Sardine x2 (Normal) : 14-140-21-10
Bastore Sardine x2 (Angler's Senses) : 14-140-21-7 (Reduction of 3)
Bastore Sardine x3 (Normal) : 15-160-21-10
Bastore Sardine x3 (Angler's Senses) : 15-160-21-7 (Reduction of 3)

Cone Calamary x1 (Normal) : 12-120-40-20
Cone Calamary x1 (Angler's Senses) : 12-120-40-14 (Reduction of 6)
Cone Calamary x2 (Normal) : 13-120-40-20
Cone Calamary x2 (Angler's Senses) : 13-120-40-14 (Reduction of 6)
Cone Calamary x3 (Normal) : 14-140-40-20
Cone Calamary x3 (Angler's Senses) : 14-140-40-14 (Reduction of 6)
No matter what it is ALWAYS the x3 fish...Quus x1 (Normal) : 9-240-12-6
Quus x1 (Angler's Senses) : 9-240-12-4 (Reduction of 2)
Quus x2 (Normal) : 9-260-12-6
Quus x2 (Angler's Senses) : 9-260-12-4 (Reduction of 2)
Quus x3 (Normal) : 10-280-12-6
Quus x3 (Angler's Senses) : 10-280-12-4 (Reduction of 2)

Icefish x1 (Normal) : 5-200-38-19
Icefish x1 (Angler's Senses) : 5-200-38-13 (Reduction of 6)
Icefish x2 (Normal) : 5-220-38-19
Icefish x2 (Angler's Senses) : 5-220-38-13 (Reduction of 6)
Icefish x3 (Normal) : 6-240-38-19
Icefish x3 (Angler's Senses) : 6-240-38-13 (Reduction of 6)
That also raises the question, what is the significance of it going 200 > 220 > 240? I understand that it is 3 fish so the rate of depletion would be a bit slower to help the feel of the catch. You know when you have 3 on the line because it is so noticeable by the hp depletion. But what else makes it noticable. I don't think I know the difference between 1 quus and 2 quus. But I notice a difference when i have bastore sardines on the line. That is why it goes 13 > 14 > 15 as such. But in the case of bastore sardine, when it gets to that 15 why does the 2nd value go up 20...
I'm so confused!
I'll just have to get all the rings and test it out to know for sure. Damn you MMM![]()
Hmmm... what is the difference between a Gigant Squid and a Gugrusaurus?
Gugrusaurus : 7-100-43-32
Gigant Squid : 7-200-43-21
Obviously the stamina recovery. Hmmm...Could the 2nd value possibly be HP regen? >.>....
That wouldn't make sense... nvm LOL
Now I don't like ID1 being HP depletion because items are 15...![]()
Hmmm, I tried putting on an Albatross Ring and I'm not even getting 1 Hakuryu bite. Only Black sole (which give me 59 seconds to reel them in now >.> lmao)
Edit: 17 minutes now and not 1 Hakuryu bite. Very interesting
It seriously is only Black Sole and monsters.
haha, the moment the ring wears off i start catching them... weird
Multiples have more stamina. I mean their stamina drains more slowly. Since the first ID only goes up on 3 fish, and the 2nd ID goes up with every additional one, I will try frapsing quus and see if stamina drain on them is the same for 1 and 2 fish, and then higher for 3 fish. Or if it increases with just 2 fish being pulled in. Won't be til tomorrow though when I can test.
Albatross thing is very weird, maybe should report to GM?
Also, I wonder if SE added hakuryu to kill the ebisu market on purpose. Surely they didn't mean for ebisu to be a server-wide pyramid scheme.
How was an ebisu a pyramid scheme?
If anything, hakuryu reinvigorated the ebisu market.
The market was dying before they added hakuryu. Pretty much everyone who wanted an ebisu rod within the last few years had one, and the way to make money with it was to....fish up more gugrusaurus and lik for others. But there weren't many others at this point.
With the introduction of hakuryu, I'd wager that there are more people interested in getting an ebisu fishing rod for the purpose of fishing a widely profitable, NPCable fish. Thus, there is likely profit in fishing up gugrusaurus/lik again; it's just a matter of striking a deal with an individual fisher or setting up a bazaar. Don't pay attention to the AH history for these fish, as that's always been deceiving.
Not all ebisu fishers are going to start fishing up gugrusaurus/lik again, and that's a good thing since the market won't be flooded. People will fish them so long as they are equal/more profitable than hakuryu (i.e. gil/hour), and a few will stop fishing them when they become less profitable (less supply, same demand = prices will raise a little bit again to be worthwhile).
