Botters still kinda piss me off. Seen a few on the ferry, it's so fucking obvious, and GMs don't do shit.

Seems like no one fishes legitly anymore these days.

If a person bots its them risking getting caught(lol) I have pretty much stopped fishing now that I hit T1 on ele staves, so much more money there, especially when I farm my own ele beads for even higher profit ratio.

The time it takes me to farm up the mats to make 3-4 HQ ele staves is far less than the time it takes for me to catch 40 haks, so its kind of pointless to go fish them now =/

i like fishing cause its for me the most profitable craft: i fish 20 liks in 2,5H and get 600k thats not that bad. and i have to do nothing, not farming not crafting so ..

You fishing at the one in the middle of all the frogs? If not, you're in the wrong place!

i dont have high lvl WW,so its not that interesting i think, but maybe you can answer me where to farm the beads cause i didnt know, that you can farm them...

Pretty sure high level chocobo digging with your own raised choc? Not something that you'll be able to get done overnight.

[A] Konshtat, level 90 dancer with full aeolian Edge build, spend half an hour capping pearl light and getting amber to 150, then sit and mass farm mobs for an hour and a half. I generally walk away with about 20-30 beads, on top of anywhere from 5-10 dark rings, which is about 150-300K right there ontop of the profit from the 7-9 HQ ele staves I will get crafting.

So thats 80K for ebony lumber + 2 and a half hours (2 hours farming, half an hour buying lumber and crafting staves)

I profit 150~200K off dark rings, then at least 600~700K off ele staves at minimil. So about 1 million gil in 2 and a half hours. So unless you can catch 40 hakuryu an hour, WWing beats fishing's profit by a long shot.

However the real trick, if I need money for something (IE atm saving up for an avalon breatplate for a MDT build for my dnc) is to do both. spend 2 and a half hours making ele staves, then I sit and fish haks to limit. Its an entire days playtime but I end up with about 2 million gil by the end of the day.

Boring as hell but its enough money to last me a long time.

I have a question about Haks. Wiki lists them as a ~30% chance of snapping your line and Minnow/Sinking Minnow only. Doesn't this mean you'd have to carry around a decent handful of lures just to fish them, and wouldn't that lower the gil gained substantially?

Seeing as this was vastly different from the 250k I was expecting via AH/Crafting I did some more searching. Didn't know the guild npc sold and restocked those lol. That makes it a lot more reliable I guess.

Ended going somewhere between 1/150~200ish on gugrus, after going somewhere between 1/50~100 on liks. (honestly didn't give a shit to count)

Not that bad, I guess. I better get a damn good blow job out of this. ;D (god I hope he never reads this) waiting until sunday to surprise him :D

@Urat: Do you synth your own beads? Because as far as I've seen, only elemental ores drop in Visions zones. Beads only drop in Scars zone as far as I know.
