After fishing haks for a day or two with both sinking and regular minnow, I can definitely eyeball the difference. Sinking is pretty much black sole or hak only, while nq minnow is bluetail, cone calamari, giant squid, or hak.

I'm not convinced it does anything more than 1x! Just seems like a waste to me when you could save the 2nd ring for 70+. It's not like you can get the GP in the time it takes to level to 78 anyway.

You aren't wasting anything, though. You use a single charge from one ring, while having both rings equipped. The one status effect is considered as "procing" on both rings individually, so that you can get 3 skillups with one fish (though I don't recall ever seeing a SS of this).

Hmmm I might have to try sinking now. I haven't really since I got everything. Well really just test a few days with one and the other when I am actually able to start at or at least near the begining of the day and fish all day

Hm didn't know that. Everyone I always see with two pelican rings use charges on both of them simultaneously.

Hmmm so got stall for my alt and now the break to catch rate is pretty much same as my alt lol. Still need to get waders body and like 3 other fishing furnishings but looks like most of that might not matter

Actually what I was saying is it made a huge difference. Like before I got it my alt was getting a 1.5 caught per break and now is more 2ish like my main. It's still always a little worse than my main but not huge like before. It's all the other stuff that doesn't seem to be making much of a difference

I think signboard makes a bigger difference. I will rearrange some furniture and test.

Idk don't really feel like playing around with it. Just that the huge difference between my alt and main is now very small. Thought signboard was basically just some skill though?

Also side note. Lik's have gone from 30k each selling decently fast to 10k each in a matter of days. /sadface
