Idk don't really feel like playing around with it. Just that the huge difference between my alt and main is now very small. Thought signboard was basically just some skill though?

Also side note. Lik's have gone from 30k each selling decently fast to 10k each in a matter of days. /sadface

Hmmm lost my my most recent set of parses but while the break rate is about the same on both definitely still catching more on main. more than the slightly lower break rate would account for I think. Need to run them side by side start stop same time again I think and actually record bite rates and how many cast this time lol

Wouldn't the decreased time between cast>bite & cast>no bite for the character with Mega Moglification: Fishing account for the increased catches on your main vs mule? Or do you have mega moglification: fishing on both characters? Sorry if you do and I missed that!

I do have it now. In fact stall is the only thing my mule has now lol. And yeah I was expecting it to bring total bite rate to about the same between the 2 but instead it seems to have evened out the break rate so idk wtf is going on

So curious how do you get enough sinking minnows? Just hop from boat to boat getting them till you can get enough? I just tried to buy some when they were only at 691 and they ran out after 50. Seems you lose alot of fishing time waiting on boats and warping around idk. Gunna parse there bite rate against my minnows for the last few days

Why do you need more than 50 lures, do you fish longer than 5-6 hours a day? I am usually fine with 30-40 lures at once and that lasts me a good 6 hours with around 60 fish.

Also it depends on your server I think and how many people fish hakuryu.

Yes I do alot of the time. Also 2 characters. I've made 3.6 mil in a day . And 10/hr is about what I do with regular minnows...

I usually see 1-3 people down near where I am at a time though I don't really check the whole coast. Iirc there at least 6 different names that I see there regularly

It's kinda funny though. Cause I'll have other people get into fishing and then promptly leave after something with a similar bite rate gets hardly any in the first hour or 2. I mean I've litterally not had a single bite from hak's in 2 hours and then had 20 and 15 catches for the 2 hours after that. It all evens out in the end but the randomness in the meantime helps discourage the impatient leaving more for the rest of us.

My alt does a bit worse but haven't really tried to parse catches/hr on it since I got stall so idk. Was getting 150-160 a day before but there is some npc time and buying and running so probably more like 7/hr on it back then

Inexperienced, annoying, lsmate of mine decided nashmau sucked for bite rate and skill ups after trying it once or twice, and now travels around the world trying to find other fish to skill up on. Idiot. Clearly I'm not a very reliable source on the subject.

Lol yeah only like the best bite rate skilling up besides moat carp... and then theres the ones that bot with bots that don't have complete fish databases built in or at least not for what they are doing and don't make them catch unknowns and wonder why they haven't caught anything for hours...

Fishing is just a test of patience. A test many fail in this game which I'd imagine is why they haven't nerfed it in forever

Ok just parsed for like 4 hours. Sinking had about 2-3% better bite rate on each account. However it had a significantly greater break rate on my mule. Like 1 for 1

Well it's weird because I kept the same break rate on my main... so while catch rate on my main went up a little it went down on my mule

Edit: Side note gm just went around beaucedine warping from fisher to fisher (even if they were right next to each other) asking them if they were afk lol

Which part? Either way neither on neither. Though I'll admit was only 4 hours or so so who knows it could even out. It was worse for awhile. For the 2 hours it was over 2 breaks per catch on mule while main stayed at 2 catches per break.

As far as the GM that's what he told me and I actually watched him warp out after talking to my mule then warp to my main which was all of about 10 yalms away lol. Which let me actually stop fishing and wave to him before he could even send me a tell lol.

Bahamut. Weird I don't think I've ever seen something like that before though. Only had GMs called one me 2 other times. Once was the day I switched to this server (and a certain someone who was the original owner of the alt I had at the time was doing all she could to get back at me so I think that was just her sending out a report) and once was actually just a few months before that though I forget the situation lol. But never seen zone wide clean sweeps. Wonder if I put in my seacom that I'm here for gargutua for trials they will forget me? I did just get a pt invite to one lol
