Just saying in my experience (I played pc for a long time... and couldn't fish up shit for ebisu fish) then switched back to my old ps2 hdd I got in ps2 beta... and it was like night and day.

He's right, or find someway to lag yourself are really the only things that will help you.

He's right... you gotta find a way to lag yourself. I found it completely impossible to deplete the stamina of Gugs (both rings active). Then I hit upon a solution by complete accident. I have Fraps installed and was fishing one day with it in recording mode. I didn't know I was recording, I must have hit the button by accident. But it worked! It lags the game a little on my system, enough for the stamina to fall a lot better than it did before. (Athlon XP3200+, Radeon 9800 Pro... so a shitty system by todays standards. Your mileage may vary).

I ended up hitting record on every bite and cancelling it after each attempt. Was still a challenge though, I still lost a fair few. But at least it wasn't impossible any more.

I've heard of people running their anti-virus scanner to lag them too. Might be worth a try?

eastern analog is Istiridye but yeah nashmau is still ok, they just dont sell nearly as much on my server

Yes and no.... it seems to be able to hold 1-2 people... any more than that and the price of those fish gets shit on. Even 2 people can drop the price by quite a bit if they fish to fatigue each day.

Ah yes, Istiridye^^; I've actually checked it myself recently and after one GORGEOUS day I've had a run of slow bites but for the skill ups it's worth it even if I have to NPC the fish. I'm even logging the RMT activity so maybe in the process I'll get them banned!

I am 41 fishing at the moment, and soon to have my lu shang's rod. When I get it, I was wondering if I should go for shall shells? I tried fishing them in dunes a while back and remember catching absolutely nothing with crayfish paste and halcyon. Alot of fishing friends say to just fish on the ferry but I hate the wait in between rides... So shall shells yes/no? or could someone suggest anything else for lvl 41?

edit.... was reading through this thread and I guess robber/rogue rig is better for shall shell.. So I guess that's why I wasn't catching anything before... And I answered my own question <.<
