yea it's whipping too much on my PC, sometimes after it hook, i can deplete it for maybw 20-25%, but then it starts asswhipping and i can't deplete any more, instead the HP is going up again not matter what i try

If you go back a bit I actually asked about something similar. Except it was somewhat harder fish. Basically the solution was to use a program to force your pc to preform slower. Though iirc SE frowns upon this which is kinda dumb since all you are doing is making it like it was designed to be

Just getting into Fishing lvl 22 atm. What path would you take to 100, skilling as fast as possible? Been just parked in Port Sandy and did Moat and now I'm doing tricolored, then I was going to do gold carp.

Istiridye to 53 in Nashmau (Robber/rogue rigs iirc, can use a halcyon if you don't have lu shangs), then Talacca (Mercanbaligi, Dil, and Ahtapot if you don't mind the nonstackable fish, you will need lu shangs for this stage) to 78. Get ebisu, skill doesn't matter anymore at this point. Liks, Gugrus, and Haks will take you to 100 in no time. (Unless you want to waste your time fishing shitty fish that make less money, but will skill you up faster, but there's no point to doing that, unless you desperately need ffxiah points as fast as possible or something, lol.)

Just do 0~78 in talacca cove as you will get more gil and then keep going until you get sea serpent rumors. If you don't have WW leveled to repair rod, buy like 2 more lu shangs and fish lik or gug until all 3 break > use rabao earring > repair > repeat, until 100! Like Julian said, don't need to be in a rush. Also fuck the ebisu quest so much...

Nope doing it for the gil thanks! LS has a bunch of ebisu mules to help me get mine, just want to get it up to a useful level as fast as possible. Unfortunately I'm the first person to actually lvl fishing, so my mates aren't good for advice on skilling.

I prefer nashmau at higher lvls like 53. Less money but you can cap out in just 3-4 hours tops. Was getting 6-10 lvls a day with ring last time I did it until I had to only target 1 fish . Given how fast you can get ebisu items if you have that kind of help you probably still actually want to fish regular skill up fish since you will probably be waiting on gp to even get ebisus. Like most recent mule of mine had ebisu items by the time I had only gotten around 20k gp. Took another month or so to get enough. And well higher ranks generally give higher gp days

Just re-activated an old 75 cap 100LC mule and am beginning 3rd ebisu. I figure the only thing better than 1 ebisu is 2, therefore the only thing better than 2 ebisus is 3!

Where is it exactly that people come about alt accounts to Ebisu the days away on? I can't imagine that many self-made accounts, I'd blow my head off before I got half the unlocks necessary to do whatever it is that I'm up to. So that leaves donated accounts, and RMT (in the literal sense, real money for an account)? Maybe I'm in the wrong circles, but I've had many friends call it quits, and none have offered their image unto me. Should I start telling my accomplices that I'm interested?

Both alt accounts are friends who quit at the 75 cap. The key is to ask.

edit: the 2nd key is to not strip down accounts to nothing when you get them. No one wants to give their account away if they know you're going to /toss everything.

Actually both mine were made from the ground up lol. It is rather annoying lvling up getting chocobo teles missions airship etc. Not to mention waiting 2 weeks to start fishing but my last one I got to ebisu in under 3 months and thats while working and traveling cross country for interviews

.1 a month, were you fishing 1 day a month? I recently did ebisu mule from 88-100 off haks, leveled pretty damn quick fishing 40-50 a day on average.

edit: hell I sold lu shangs on 10/21/11 and mule is already 100.

If you just keep fishing moat carp... you'll never skill up and get to real money. And hell I got my last ebisus at around lvl 90 fishing because there was not point skilling up past nashmau really. And got to 100 within a week of fishing hak's

Also I already was bonkers so getting 4 characters to 100 had no effect on my sanity.
