It literally means only one tricorn was turned in. I'm not surprised considering you need frog fishing to catch them and they are on that annoying ferry. As for what size is good enough it depends on the ease of catching the fish and the competition on your server. I used to say be within 1~3 of the max for a guaranteed win, but it seems much easier now adays.

Yeah most annoying fish don't get many entries to the point anything you enter will win. While the easier to get ones get so many that you could turn in the best after 3 days of fishing for it and not win. Even just moderately annoying like sea zombies often discourage people

; ; Three-eyed fish are the easiest it gets. All I have after about 100 catches is a 111 and a 108 when max is around 115.

My personal stance was I'd catch 200 in a day (if possible) and turn in the best one. If that didn't win oh well.

That someone double skilled up into 100? Now adays its less likely, but back in the day before most had Ebisu in the 80s then bot to 100 off Haks wearing puffin/noddy I doubt it was that uncommon. .3>.3>100 would be better! Or the rumored but never seen (with my eyes) triple skill up using 2x pelican rings. .3>.3>.3>100 wut!?!?! It does shock me though how many people still have no idea how Pelican ring works.

I'll be running dual pelicans, have got 3 double skills so far. Right now it's Sea Zombie though - I've spent all day trying to even catch one. Got Pirates once, no bites.

Also, you can get 0.3's off other fish than legendaries, unless what just happened was because I caught a fish 71 levels above me.

So I sold my Lu's a long time ago when I thought I would be quitting the game forever (no one ever does) and my fishing is 72. What would you guys suggest to get to 78 without requesting or buying a Lu's, so when I feel like working on a Ebisu I can actually do the quest.

Find a friend that will let you borrow a Lu for about 6 days? Otherwise will mercs aka bastore bream break a halycon?

edit: with 72 alch you can repeatedly fix the rod

Mercs do break a Halcyon but I don't think they break a Composite? So Mercs/Breams would work.

There's also Three Eyed Fish (Qufim), Jungle Catfish (near Temple of Uggy), Gavial Fish, Ahtapot/Grimmonites. There's a few choices.

This is of course assuming otherwiki isn't lying about all them not breaking a Composite. It must be about a few otherwise people wouldn't bother with Lu's surely.

Looks like they adjusted Sinking Minnow sell price and quantity from boat NPC.

1320 minimum price and 28 quantity. Can anyone confirm?

I waited 3 rides for price to go down, it didn't.

Price goes down every Vana day and does not replenish from ride to ride.
