Merc sword's price dropping hard on my server, guess someone with a few ebisus also got himself a ferry bot.

Speaking of, 14/1333 on that sword if anyone else wants to go through their logs and nail own a rate on Titan>Sword success rate.

Can't remember my exact numbers but from what I remember overall I was around 1.52%. Though that first one took 200+ lol

Puffin I was more like 3-5%

I guess I should not have complained too much about these numbers above. I just traded in 132 crocs/pelas and got 0 rings lol. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

That's what some people tell me... but others have had the same problem I have. Which was trying all the spots for hours with each listed bait and not getting a damn thing

Oh I know people who have personally said they found some. It's just I've tried everyone I can see on every map with every bait and nothing. Was awhile ago though

Sneak fishing in the Den is okay if you have an afternoon you can devote to checking in every half hour to put sneak up. Write an essay, beat another game, whatevs.

Besides travel and sneak, more major downsides are that 6 hours of sneak fishing give you a worse-than-fifty-fifty shot at your sword. Every time that I'm on the wrong side of that fifty, I wish I had just done haks for the guranteed money; every time I'm on the right side of that fifty, there are 5 listed, selling one a day, and price has steadily fallen up to that point. At which point I wish I had done Haks and maybe a synth or two, instead.

Of all my swords (20-30), maybe 5 have sold at peak price, without any AH shenanigans like being undercut, returned, or so flooded I couldn't list at first.

I am currently not afk, and at haks anyway. Kind of beasting too, 8 up in 20 the first 20 minutes!

So if I wanted to take fishing from 0 to 100 how long would it take reasonably fishing to cap everyday?

Last character I did it on I got to around 90 in a little over a month. Mind you I wasn't fishing to full 200 cap for the first 2 weeks since I had just created the character. Actually had a couple of days I got almost 10 skill with ring. Used 1 fishing skill up ring. I stopped there since I was basically just waiting for guild points to get my ebisu rod and was more useful fishing for little bit of money here and there in between and then just got 100 on hakuryu over the course of a week

Did 58-86 in 7 or 8 days, other character has gone 8-48 in that time with no ring. Waiting for GP, so I just go catch Titans or Crocs instead of bothering with anything else.

The longest part as others said is waiting for GPs. Fishing really isn't about going 0-100, it's about going 0-ebisu. You can generally get to the 78 skill you need for the a hell of a lot faster than the 95k GP you need...

I find it hard to fish over 140 or so, unless its my mule that sits there all day with nothing but bait/fish in her inventory.

Lately I've been doing it for money. I'd say around 9-10 hour average.
