Does anyone know what level below a fish you start getting the epic catch message?

I never received it on Haks before 94(+6+46), and I know I got it on Armored Pisces in the 86-90 range. I don't know anything for sure, but if someone were catching Armored Pisces at a much lower level and could figure out when they start getting that message you may be able to find an exact level on Albeia/Haks/Gugs/Liks - assuming that message is based on level.

The IP ban was 7-8 accounts total. After it happened I gave him one of my alts to use and he couldn't get on that one either.

Right, what I meant was I didn't get epic until 94+6; at skill<94+6 I never got the message, which made me think it was based on skill below fish cap. My question was basically if we knew how far below a fish level that occurred we may be able to accurate gauge fish like Haks/Liks/Gugs/Albeia. It may be that skill has nothing to do with it, I really don't know. I can throw a mule that's at 73ish at Armored Pisces tomorrow with a Lu Shangs and see if I get it if no one has any solid idea one way or the other

It's a cool idea, I'd love to see if there is a difference on when the message triggers on Lu v. Ebisu based on the previous testing that shows some type of hidden fishing skill on Ebisu.

I would be willing to bet I see the message at 83 skill which should be in 1-2 days.

Just checked it out on the test server, and it's going to cost 100k GP to get 110 fishing. Get saving people.

Damn, I approve of that! I am confused though, you say we need a 100k GP item to raise cap, but I don't see it mentioned in the link you posted. I was hoping it meant we'd be white again, and raise 10 levels before our skill was capped blue...

It doesn't say it on that post, but it's already live on the test server. If you talk to Fennella on the test server, she has the key item for sale for 100k.

I don't know. How does he know all of his accounts didn't just get a regular ban? I don't know how you would differentiate between the two. If one of the banned characters wasn't being used for fishing, I would say there is a possibility. If they were all involved in the same thing, I don't think that can really be used as proof of IP banning.

When I was banned they banned all 5 of my accounts including one that was inactive at the time. Only fished on one.

Was the Feb 3rd when they banned a bunch of RMT. He made 700mil in 60 days give or a take a couple and was funneling all the gil to one account. The reason was gil flow for RMT activities. Don't ask why he has 700mil just sitting on an account, he's just different like that.

I've avoided funneling all of my gil onto one account just for that reason.

Kinda dumb to ban just because lots of gil in account. Shit I sit above 100mil fairly often on my main... until I go on a currency buying spree lol. Guess I'll divide it between my accounts and mules and such more. But I really wanted a screenshot of max gil
