Nothing for me, but I don't fish around the clock or collaborate with mules so maybe they don't want to catch me as bad. I can kind of see how they'd be more interested in catching a fishing mule than a main.

So you supposedly can fish up Rhinochimera in Arrapago reef with sinking minnow... but I haven't gotten a bite from it in an hour. Is there only some places in there you can fish them? Somewhere better to go?

I would try meatball or assume they only come from the Hot and Cold game/desynthing and someone just screwed with Wiki.

edit: did you reel in everything? There's been some weird fish that don't !!! message as they should.

I reeled in everything that wasn't item or monster. I switched spots to a place mentioned somewhere buried in this thread that said bite often... took about 30 min. Also it isn't just wiki I looked at kida's and it only said sinker. OH well finally got it and made my briny broth lol

Puffin and Noddy for liks, crocs and haks. If you're using killfish, you also use Puffin and Noddy for gugs. If you're not using killfish you're going to need at least an albatross for gugs.

Oh, you don't need any rings to catch anything but gugs. I misunderstood what you wrote. The bare minimum on liks, crocs, and haks is no rings.

Crocs fucking suck. They are also "broken." Half of the crocs you catch will give you the "Your skill is too low" message. The ironic part is I have caught hundreds, if not thousands of them both below 100 and at 100 with cap broken and I have never received a skill up post 93ish. My personal advice being a guy who has sold a huge number of these rings is just buy your puffin ring and farm your noddy ring. You can fish like 60-80 pelas up in 120 mins, you'll probably get about 20 crocs in that same amount of time. Additionally, you are looking at meatballs (25k a stack on odin) for crocs vs. crayfish balls (5.2k a stack from NPC) for Pela. I also could not legitimately catch crocs without an albatross ring. Blame it on my PC or whatever, they stink.

The first thing I tried to catch with my brand new Esibu today was Crocks, and I needed an Alba ring to do it. I had no issues wearing them down, just never enough time. Got 6 in a 20 minute charge, so not horrid. But it's an annoying fish.

Pela are really easy to reel in, shouldn't have a problem at 83 I'd say.

Only one of my 3 ebisu chars has cooking, and that is my main. Generally I'm doing ls stuff on my main while my 2 ebisu mules are off fishing. I tried to hold firm and not buy them for 20k a stack but then others bought. So screw it, I joined in the fun and made about 11m in one week off a guy who went 1/1300ish off gugs lol. Now that Ebisu fish are selling slow again I imagine the price will drop to 10-15kish a stack. If it weren't for Sandy Flour being non-stackable I'd probably feel different about it.
