I didn't get no tell for sure. Not sure about the pop up thing does it go away after awhile? it had to be quick if so. I was semi-afk, but I check the game every minute, replying to tells, talking to ls, etc. (was browsing web). Throughout the ride I didn't catch anything then I got the first Gug for that ride about 3 minutes later I got a disconnection error thing and wasn't able to log back on. I remembering /sea the zone to see that I was by myself which I found odd cause the guy who checked me was on the boat before it departed lol.

Well you were reeling in gugs without a albatross ring is why you got nailed sucks but if you're going to do gugs at least use a albatross ring anyway sucks to be you etc.

I haven't done any Nyzul. Just got back from a 11 month break XD (did manage to finish floor100 before I went on hiatus though)
Yeah I think I'm going to get an albatross ring after. I didn't think someone would report me ; ; just dumb me for being ignorance (as I'm pretty confident there's no auto detect for like a extended fight, it wasn't that long too probably like 40-50sec).
The thing that sucks about albatross is it's required to be equipped. Have you guys had luck pulling in gug with just albatross w/o penguin/herron? I'd like to keep puffin equipped still for better bite rates, because as it's low as it is already XD

Check out the suspension date, it's weird lol. I wonder if this mean that they only wanted to 'warn' me or the GM simply clicked on the wrong week hahah. I'll see if I can log in after work.

It still leaves the question of why you were caught. Were you pulling gugs in at an abnormally fast rate?

I wasn't. I used extended kill so that I can have unlimited time to real the gug in. Mind you it didn't take no more than 40-50sec (maybe 60 at most, I wasn't timing). Sometimes, counting line snap and rod break, on a trip I'd get only one or two gugs. So it's not the fast catch rate. A question I have still is whether or not a GM can look at your gear without the examination msg showing up in the chat log, I'm guessing they can.

I'm pretty sure I was reported and the GM went to check me out. The guy (who checked me in the beginning, but then didn't board the ferry with me) was sending me tells too saying stuff like 'As long as you're happy I'm good (different topic)' which might've been a hint in retrospect XD I'm not bitter towards him or anything. I know what I was doing and the consequences , I just didn't imagine people cared so much, but now I know better lol

The odd part is you can reel in gugs on that boat without any ring/ex bait help without extend kill or killfish. It's just last time I tried I could only reel in about 33% iirc

Yep somethings clearly wrong with your situation. You were suspended for an incident on 4/18, but suspended 4/10-4/13.

I'd assume the suspension is 4/19 - 4/22 @ 3AM EST or 12AM PST and the email is wrong.

I don't get what's confusing about this. You were extending the amount of time you could have a fish on the line which is beyond normal in-game means. It's pretty simple to me no matter what fish you are reeling in. If you can only have X fish on the line for 30 seconds, and you are reeling it in for 55 seconds it is obvious you're using a 3rd party tool. Anyone can watch you with the fish on the line and simple count how long you have it on the line. Guy watches you keep gug on the line for 50 seconds, calls GM, GM watches you keep gug on the line for 50+ seconds. Checks log, no albatross was used, thus you're using a tool to keep the fish on the line longer. Whether you had an albatross ring equipped or not, would be pretty simple to check if you USED it. I don't understand why you would extend fish time which is obviously something that anyone watching you can count/see. Atleast with killfish all they see is you fighting and catching X fish in an appropriate amount of time.

They CAN I'm sure, but I don't know of this to be common.

I doubt GMs know enough about fishing to know you won't reel in most gugs without rings. Especially since now on Odin I never see rings being used, there's usually atleast one other character fishing gugs at the same time as me. What I am *more sure* about is they do know how long you can have X fish on the line. So if you have them on the line longer without rings then it's a obvious red flag.

Oh I don't see it just happening either, I meant if someone called a GM for that specific reason.

Um don't the ex bait extend time too? No log of that. Idk pulling it in when it's not even depeleted sounds risky
