You still get plenty good skillups after 50. I remember last time going up I did like 15+ lvls in 2 days with rings starting at like 55ish lol. Even 90-100 isnt that bad.

Do skill ups drop drastically after 50 for fishing as well or does it only happen at 90+?

This is purely off memory, so take it with whatever grain of salt you so desire:
Pre 50 with single Pelican's ring I was getting like 3-5 levels per day
Post 50 with single Pelican's ring I was getting like 1-2.5 levels per day

There were obviously the insane days where I got 7.4 levels or the opposite where I had around .4 from 200 fish.

I don't think I've gotten less than 1.5 without ring a day per 90. Well except the days I forgot to switch fish because I capped. Or rank up lol. And that's between 4 characters to 100 from scratch. If stuff wasn't giving decent skillups I'd go somewhere else. Often trying from too far away is what made the difference

I did both mules and my main in nashmau doing the classic 0-53 off istirdye, then merc/ahta to 86-90ish, then either dil to 96 or pter to 99

Yeah I didn't like the rate goin that far away so I did some bridge ones. A little running around was worth it to me. Last mule I did got to like 90 a little over 1 month after I created it... and considering I couldn't fish really for first 2 weeks lol.

Recommended spot/lure for ryugu titan? wiki has like ten different lures listed as working, just wondering if someone had a personal favorite.

I use boat and meatballs usually works pretty good. Though yesterday was bad. In a little over 4 hours I got killed by 3 sea monks and 2 pirate nms. And most of the other runs were pirates too

Recommended going RDM (If you have it) for Composure Sneak. Lasts better part of 15 minutes that way.

No really I'm being serious. If it's something even semi lame like sea zombie you often wont even get 20 entries. If it's something easy to find like jungle catfish everyone and there mother will do it including people I know were capped and it will be very hard to win. Like I've litterally fished to cap for a full week entered the best one and still got 27th. Also there might be someone outside the spot selling some if they look pretty close to best you can get buy them that usually works

It's days like this I love this server. Despite personally helping a dozen people get it I can still buy them at min price all day everyday for 3 characters for some weird reason. That being said minnows are pretty much as good and they restock alot better. Like if its at min price you can buy 160ish iirc in one day lol
