I remember reading about Abaia but never fished them, wasn't there some exact spot stuff where you needed to be for being able to hook them?

Yea I think the west side of the lake to target them? I could be wrong though. I might give them a try because for the life of me ive spent 200+ meatballs on cave cherax without a single .1, either I'm just going through a fluke or they are broken. Can someone with 108+ give them a try to check my sanity?

You didn't have to be in an exact spot but supposedly you could eliminate an unwanted fish from biting if you were up around the west side. I didn't really noticed much of a difference then from southern part of lake though

I used that side by the big rock, think it was the West maybe, as if you are heading towards the zone line. I saw a huge difference v. fishing from the "closest" spot.

Small sample size etc, Minnows kicking Sinking Minnows' ass on Haks of late.

Bite rate on gerrothorax suck too much to be a viable level fish.

Also because of lakerda, mola mola and kalkanbaligi (i think caps at a lower level anyway) isn't very reliable either.

108.3 on cherax now. I'm gonna stick with those, decent bite rate, only need meatballs, suitable to use pelican rings on.

Probably it's pretty easy to catch in a zone with no mobs that is pretty easy to get to but not frequented much. Just hope you get lucky or someone selling awesome ones

Probably, because they're pretty easy to catch, and in a zone with no mobs that aggro. As such, they're pretty easy to get. Fortunately, since they are rarely targeted outside GP, preexisting volume will be on the very low end. Just hope that you get lucky or someone is selling awesome ones.

Me and my bro just do it dual SMN and astral flow the shit out of it, but I've heard it's doable with one SMN.

Most of the fish for that have almost no pre-existing volume... that's why any of them that are even slightly valuable tank if they are the fish ranking thing since everyone and there mother fishes up 2353 of them and puts them on the ah.

This. So much can go wrong soloing. But also make sure your friend isn't an idiot or if he is he can at least follow instructions. Can't tell you how many times I've lost because people just didn't do what they were told or got some "great" idea that they needed to do. Such as ya know not activating astral flow/smning until the mobs were beating on them. Or using an ether before sending their pet on one of the mobs (not that you need ether anyways and I gave him the juice he needed for it but meh) and then being locked out of doing anything until we were all dead. Or releasing his pet so he could rest up mp to use astral flow bp again when there is only 1 mob left at 4% and it is 100 fisting even though was specifically told to just assault it (not to mention the juice would've gotten him enough mp anyways) ... theres more but those are the ones that ended up making me just quit doing it lol

fishing trumpet shells for my daily gp, happened to catch a koruyu or however it's spelled. Didn't know the 10k fish could be caught with a robber rig. /random.
