I have before and it worked well... can always try again, i remember them biting minnows too, but they target more stuff.

Why go for Titans on the Ferry and not Den of Rancor? I've only ever considered Den because it bypasses the downtime of the ferry process. I suppose I didn't check the bite competition so I can't say which spot is better during uptime, but there is significantly more of it in the Den, and the fish seem to pour in just fine.

I did ferry because when I tried den a long time ago never could get a bite after hours and hours. Guess it's time to try again though.

And yeah Merc swd went way up here too. Sold a couple I had left over from before and then everyone jumped on and last I saw several were up and dropping in price lol. So be quick on that shit before all the other fisherman realize they can make better gil

yea if you are too low you can get the message "you're skill level is too low blah blah" or you simply cant catch it

I ask cause my bot has been pulling up rare ahtpots and Pterygotus since lvl 12.

Can fish anything as long as it doesn't have a timer. eg, can catch crocs/haks majority of the time before they are lost (with a lu's) but not all the time.

Your bite rate won't be great, but you can catch them. With 3 fish to choose from, I went to Talacca at 45ish (whenever Battalia's 2 fish got lame) and was Lv60 in 4 days.

I also notice going too far away murders your skillup rate too. And puffin/noddy rings are decent rate. Better than merc swd at least lol

This is so true, I've seen my first Merc. Sword after roughly 350 titans, while I got about 6 Puffin in 175~ Crocs during the past couple days.

Ouch. I generally average about 150ish for Merc swd. I'd say more like 40-60ish for puffin
