Liks are pretty easy to catch. I did them way back when at lvl 78 so I'd consider just catching them. Gugs a little harder so maybe just buy or catch a few a day and buy the rest when you get bored of fixing your rod.

Also yeah spending millions on 142 fish is easy seeing as I don't know anyone that would sell them for under 15k lol. Or did you think he meant like 5+ when he said millions?

pretty much , 15k a fish is only 2mil~, I guess it's technically millions, but still!

Bout the only reason I miss moving from carby - there was a time when gugs were going 40k per. Made a metric shitton of gil there for awhile. the price stabilized after that but it was sweet while it lasted. Now you cant get a lik or gug to sell over 15k on asura, leading to even more people on the glacier. but liks are in a way better than haks, better bit rate, less breaks. downside is only good on AH or selbina mule, which may or may not be as practical depending on the person, or people just do haks out of sheer laziness.

Yeah there is a guy here who bazaars them for like 40-50k each and apparently they even sell even though I have stuff up for 30k all the time lol. 15k is pretty crap though. The only reason I'd go that low is for a good friend and even then it better not take long because even at 20k hak's are probably better.

Yea 20k is about bare minimum if I were to think about bazaaring them. I get lucky about half the time on catching sinkers on the boat which seems pretty good considering Asura's sinking minnow depression, so I go with haks when i get lucky.

Got my mule her ebisu. went to fish cros on both characters for a bit, went 2/42 on rings. easy 1.1m+extra for the mule. Was a good day.

I just started fishing and I find I tire out really easily. Got to level 4... tired out.... then 8... tired out... then lvl 9.7 then tired out... is this common and how Fishing is going to be?

what are you fishing and where? you should be getting your full 200 fish np that early on.

yeah if youre pulling up 200 a day thats normal. if you look at the fishing guide here that the other guys put out its much faster leveling if you're only concerned with skill rate, so definitely check that out. Learn to love to live in Nashmau.

I went 1/120ish again on Sunday for a puffin ring. Random shit.

@ Omni if you reactivated or created new in the past 30 days there may be some penalty for the first month. Otherwise ya 200 fish per day until you cap.

Never seen a penalty for reactivate. And for new it's only 2 weeks. Also if you are under lvl 20

Yeah I recently did a new one. Sucked waiting those 2 weeks but got my ring and skilled up sooo fast after. Also to note (read sad story) a long time ago I started using 2 of my mules (note same account mules) to help me fish up moat carp to get more lu shangs since not many were being sold. Got them all geared up and started them fishing. 2 days later they added the lvl 20 thing...

Not near Nashmau. In Nashmau, and it's currently what I'm doing. 55 - 67 in three ish days so far.
