I feel like there is a catch ( no pun intended)l ol... I just fish there from 0-mid 90's...crafting shouldn't be this easy!?..haha Why do I see people in the other areas leveling then? Is this uncommon knowledge?
Anyway thats awesome..... off to Nashmau!
Fishbots still exist?
Can't focus on anything you type because of your avatar
For you nashmau. I've done like 5 characters now to 100 fishing and I'd say for optimum speed would be starting nash at high low 60s and it stays being the best till you cap on mercanbilga. At that point it's still really good but somewhere else might be faster but skillup rate doesn't really matter at that point and they are decent gil/hour so I'd just stay there really until you get ebisu
Talacca is wholesale better than Nashmau and takes 2 minutes extra to get to.
I suppose... but it's harder to setup a loop that takes you to npc to sell stuff and then go back to fishing lol
You can just make it drop Ahtapots and that solves that issue entirely.
Meh I still got to 90 before the last account was 2 months old so doesn't really matter to me and rather have some gils till I get ebisu
Hello!
few questions:
1- Is it worth having a fishing mule/s in the same account? (for profitable easy fishes)
I already have 7 mules established a long time ago for various reasons, but unsure whether to give my Lu to them (e.g. to spawn more Lu's maybe?) or sell it once I get my Ebisu on my main.
2- I'm trying to fish Crocodiles atm for profit and skill up (96+9), is there any better alternative that doesn't involve the ferry or breaking my Lu? or should I just fish an easy target for profit but not skill up until I get an Ebisu?
thanks
1. Moat carp could be really fast money if it wasn't for the fact you often have to make your own bait which is rather time consuming and wait for them to sell on the ah. Npc stuff from nashmau is decent gil/time for fishing but Hak's will be much better and you wont have to watch it as much though you will have to buy lures.
2. I'd wait till you get ebisu
thanks, I'll probably wait for Ebisu then and sell my Lu, Hak' will probably take much of my time. Once you go Hak', you never go back..eh? xD
out of 32 catches so far, not a single skill up, tho I'll probably stop once I get my Puffin, crocs are so annoying to catch :RAGE:Pretty sure crocs are broken as hell and will not skill you up past 93ish. If SE fixed it and they now skill you please let me know!
In response to your quasi-Hak joke, it's true, mostly because once you can fish haks you realize skill does not matter, better to skill slowly and make good consistent money then skill fast but make shit for money. I have said it a number of times before, but considering the number of "your skill is too low" messages on crocs, it makes no sense why their skill cap is in the low 90s.
While I wont say Hak onry the other fish I catch rely on buyers, sell infrequently, and also break lu shangs so it's still a wait for ebisu thing unless you want to take chances on ryuga as they don't break too often.
yeah, skill wise, I'm not concerned about it at all, just wanted to see if I can hit 2 birds with a stone...now that I remember, I never actually fished for anything but profit. About crocs, I just went 3/32 on puffin ring...wow, now I'm very tempted to fish more lol, its so addictive, I also realized I never unlocked this quest before!, and now I probably used all my beginner luck on these rings...sigh.
I'll try to fish more and report back if I got any skill ups.
Ryugu Titan for Merc. sword right? well after my experience with crocs I may try them, but they are best fished in the ferry plus they break lu...hmm....hmmmmmmmmmm... can you give me a rough percentage on the breaks? I'll probably end up trying both to see which one is less annoying than the other lol. While I wont say Hak onry the other fish I catch rely on buyers, sell infrequently, and also break lu shangs so it's still a wait for ebisu thing unless you want to take chances on ryuga as they don't break too often.
(I was thinking bladefish for profit until I get The Ebisu, still have to wait for GP KI)
thanks again guys
Yeah for swd which fluxuates from being really good gil too meh. Haven't used Lu in awhile but it's rod break should be around ebisus line break. Wasn't really checking the parse too closely the last few times I did them but but I'd say under 10%. Though you being at lower skill might effect that. I remember when doing Gugrus there was a decent difference in break rate between 78 and 100 skill.
