Just like all rare casket drops kinda random. I heard some people get it after a couple of hours. I've spent at least 20 hours by now trying to get it and nothing

no, i cycled though the weak mobs, then went and did pages getting as much casket discovery bonus, the back to weak mobs. rinse, repeat, youll get it eventually

Noodles I hate your guts so bad right now. Been camping that while lvling random jobs to 30 for my mules. Done like 4-5 from 4ish to 30 now and nothing

We'd just finished up some hahavas and I was bored, figured "may aswell try get a chest, see if I get lucky". Linked all the TW mobs by the rift, banishga, nothing, tried again, one chest, boom.

I ended up getting alchemist's torque a similar way. Was in sky for VW, guys were killing agro before pop and sure enough torque was in chest lol. I was the only person in attendance with 100 alchemy so I nabbed it.

I was in there for 2 days trying to get one and never did. Came back much later leveling a mule didn't see a single one for 2 days then right before i was getting ready to leave i got 3 in 10min. It went torque > crap > torque > lots of chests > torque. Random is fun right?

This was one of the biggest things that made gugrusaurus fishing so frustrating, and why I never really bothered with hakuryu. Knowing that PC players had to use extra equipment/effects to get on the same "level" as PS2 players was incredibly discouraging.

I was just mentioning to someone earlier this week how they had indicated they were going to do this update, but that was a year or so ago. Glad they didn't forget!
