Why do people even buy that...
Its under8k to buy a stack of mats each and craft it. Unless hair meat is like 45k
wooow. I just looked it up. Their hare meat is 20k/stack. un fucking real.
How many people in Nashmau fishing? Currently 17.
1/84, fuck that cape -_-

sigh @ odin
Up to about 0/70ish now
Also, re:buying meatballs, even if you pay like 40-50k for a stack, you're pretty much getting that back just from turning in cheraxes. Not that I buy them for 40-50k, but it doesn't seem like a terrible deal as some people make it out to be.
Holy crap Ghall you still play?! How many fishers does the server have these days?
Just the opposite - you want a rod that will give you a "too small to catch" message. Great Blue is outdated, but there's still good info on it:

I did not do Crescent Fish because my mule was already in the 70s when this was brought up. Tavnazian Goby works to 75. I think I did Mithran Rod w/ Minnows on them. I have a post a few pages back where I think I talked about it.
Personally, I would never consider the too small option for 24 hour a day fishing skill ups. The risk-reward ratio does not seem worth it to me. You will only arrive at level 78 quicker still waiting on GPs to get serpent rumors while adding the risk of possible being banned or somehow flagged. For anyone that has skilled in Nashmau you know without ring you're looking at 2-3 levels per RL day on average, double that with ring. Post 60 it will be a bit slower, but it is much faster than most make it out to be.
I agree it's dumb, but people who don't care will do it regardless. It was a really nice trick for getting to 78 faster when my mule got his Ebisu items earlier than I thought he would. The first time I tried Goby, I spent an evening (6ish hours? Maybe a couple hours before JP midnight the next AM) and went 68.x->71.9 in 298 "catches" (only 113 actual fish caught). I could have gotten pretty close to 75 if I hadn't gone to bed and maybe not used fishing gear in hopes of actually catching less fish. The 75->78 stretch felt like it took forever in comparison.
You're breaking even on TRADING CHERAXES TO ZALDON, you're still making a profit from selling Matsya. Never said anything about selling them for 300k, because that's just downright retarded. All I'm saying is that paying 40-50k per stack of meatballs isn't as terrible as some of you make it out to be.
Do you really use 6 stacks of meatballs a day? Also, you forgot to subtract the money you get back from cheraxes in your calculation there. Again, I didn't say ANYTHING about the retards selling it for 300k.
You can't ignore the final step in the process though, they are all interwoven. I would bitch much less if matsya sold for 500k, but nevertheless, it's my choice to either stay or leave the server.
As for people bumrushing with too small so they can trade for shawl, once again I guess it's upto you whether the chance of being banned to get start trading shawl fish 5-7 days faster is worth it.
