took my main Fishing 100-108 on Armored Pisces in about 4 days, with Skillup ring. no ragequit here.

It's all luck. Luckily my long parses show while there is a diff from 100 to 110 (at least on haks with sinkers) it's not huge

May not be anything significant, but been fishing Cave Cherax fro awhile, and just got my 1st Angler's Discernment message at 91 +15 w/ Ebisu Rod. I was j/w if there's a way to figure out the exact skill cap on those. J/w if they go higher than 110.

Im assuming higher than 110 since they break lines at 110 with mm gear etc.

Moat to 11, Nebimonite to 28, Shall Shell to 55, Crescent fish to 69, Black sole to 96.

There are rod + lure combinations that will avoid breaks along the way.

You'll miss out on some profit.

Someone on here was saying they were approaching LV89. Has that person hit 89 yet so we can test whether Ebisu is skill or just an effect within X range of fish cap?

Considering how ungodly long it took me to get ONE discernment on haks (thousands, not by exaggeration or an inattention to detail), I wouldn't put too much credence into it. It's a hard thing to test and few care enough to do so.

Fishing lik/gugs with a Lu shang was never fun...Luck is on the side of people who want an E-rod now; you can always find someone to sell you fish. This was not the case at all in the past.

When you hit 89, but before 90, can you try synergizing the fisherman stall ONLY with Ebisu and no other fishing skill items/Moglifications up?

I just got my first hak discernment 89 Fishing + stall +3 in gear + Ebisu, if it matters, noticed someone posted about it, not really sure why.

Also worth noting, Armored Pisces give "Epic catch" @ this level/set up (never saw this message on any other fish)
