Trying less legitimate methods to see if I was simply terrible was still 50/50 on time.
I believe this aligns directly with what I said above. It has nothing to do with your ability to click left or right, it is the platform (read PC) you are playing on. This is not a new revelation, it is why SE has been unsuccessfully trying for years to level PC fishermen with PS2 fishermen in terms of ability to reel in fish. The reason I included (without a bot) in my previous reply is because a bot allows you to kill the fish at whatever % you determine is the threshold for your PC to nearly run out of time even with perfect left/right clicking. Flashing back to 2008 I used to fish Lik on a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop that ran at the speed of a TI-83 calculator because I could not reel in shit on my super-cool AMD dual-core 2.40 ghz processor with 4 gb of ram.
Ah, I see. Well... I guess I'm largely boned then. That enormously demotivating.
SE introduced the FPS cap during the fishing minigame to adjust for the PS2-PC difficulty gap. My impression was that this helped.
I just got my fishing to 100 I'm trying to catch armored pisces but they are barely biting. I got like 2 in the past hour or so. I'm using a Lu Shang's and a sinking minnow.
Welcome to high lvl fishing lol
For AP I used a Minnow.
Do I need the KI to turn in the Tiger Shark for Expert? Can I have someone fish it for me, then I turn it in for myself?
So you could turn in the fish without having her tell you what fish you need? If I remember correctly, she doesn't even tell you about the Tiger Shark until you get the KI.
Yes you need the KI to get the rank up.
60 pugils
1 matsya
why do I even bother anymore?
Whoa that's really bad luck though. Were you keeping monsters up?
My other choice is to just not fish, and just level my subcrafts from 60>70 and be done with it already! :/
I don't keep monsters up because I'm lazy as fuck, and I gave up on doing that after my first 40-50 matsyas or so. I usually went with like 40~60 bait anyway so it felt like too much effort to save on 5-10ish baits by the time I fished them all up.
