Can someone explain to me what the maxed out fishing mogenhancement should be?

Do I need the Emblem, Fishing Hole, Signboard, AND the Big One to max it out or is there a certain combo that will do? Tried figuring it out on wiki but getting confused about what works with what.

True but fishing more consistently has 5k+ days. And usually not too expensive/time consuming to get.

Hard to say. Other crafts only stall matters as it overpowers stuff. I've never seen anyone test it. So I sorta did. Though the 1 extra skill from waders is in there too but here ya go

Depending on your server minnows are a nightmare to obtain, may be the biggest game changer in terms of what you were used to.

Yeah and it could change overnight lol. I stopped fishing haks for a couple of weeks to do matsya. And I come back and it went from no one but me up there to at least 8 others at all times. That was like a month or 2 ago now it's always 15

Technically, the fish has been around quite a long time, it's the cape that is new, and the fact that you can gut the fish from Zaldon is a change.

Best way to fish for matsya? Can i solo fish it ? LS was telling me about having another chr there to hold mobs.

Best way is to have another character hold mobs. But yes you can solo fish it. Requires ex bait gotten from gutting either sea zombies or cave cheraux. Hard to real in without mooching but possible. If all the mobs are out of the water about 1/2 of the bait will go to matsya if they are still in there about 1/3. Seeing as you got to spend a decent time farming the bait it's a good idea to do everything you can to conserve bait. So keeping mobs out and realing up items is very good idea. Even with smock you pull up items alot so yeah if you don't pull them up it's hardly worth fishing

1 or 2 .1 or .2 a day fishing to cap is about all you can fairly expect. Sometimes you get more...but an hour? That's like 20 Cave Cherax......

I was usually getting about .7 in a full fish to cap. Sometimes as low as .1, one day I got a solid 1.5, but usually it was .6-.8 per day when I did the whole thing going ~95 to 110 on cherax. Perhaps I was just lucky.

This is gonna be slow lol, so far about 7 baits for Matsya. How much should i collect before i start fishing for it ?

Average seems to be about 10-12 baits for 1 successful matsya reel in. (edit: I never hold mobs)

Yeah it's more down to the 6-8 range if you hold mobs. I always waited till I had like 200 or so since I was taking the time to pull mobs out and such
