iv made 30+ e-rods on our server. and that is not counting ones I have posted on the AH. most E-rods go to waste, takes time to make use of it.

Oh I know. For the longest time I was the only one up in beau fishing. Sinkers and regular minnows were always min price unless I had recently bought there. And this is would be right after I personally just finished helping some people make some. Then out of nowhere everyone and there mother started fishing again or something

Its easy gil till hacks get the nerf bat. I have some other things iv been holding in my back pocket for when this happens.

Hack nerf means e-rod fish.price drop as well as masty price drop. Can't count on them forever.

Its not even with hacks but iv tested them a few times In the past and its a little less time for 1~1.5mil.

Apron turns item/mobs into no catches, I imagine Noddy does the same.

Saves on bait if you aren't using lures.

Not to mention time. Just try to fish somewhere item heavier with and without smock. It makes a world of difference

If you're using tools to fish, does hooking/letting an item go take noticeably more time than just getting a no-catch? It seemed to me no-catch takes about as long or longer, since you sit there with your rod out for the maximum amount of time.

So apparently if you dc while you have something on your hook, you won't lose your bait?

Today I was fishing Matsya, and dc'd once with something on my line, came back, and saw that I didn't lose my bait. After that I tried intentionally dcing a few more times on things that would consume bait, such as Cobalt Jellyfish and Monsters, and I did not lose my bait when I logged back on.

~_~ so all you need to do to make mad gilz is DC everytime its not a Matsya and relog! good to know, but I can not see it being something I would do to save bait.

Also how does that work? if you DC you stay logged in for a good 30sec+ would you not lose due to time?

thing I dislike about that tho is. For many of us that is kinda out of hand. Fishing already takes forever at times. Now lets throw in DCing to keep bait.

Some will do this and flood the market even more. The result will be lower prices thus less profits because the few that do this will double their load per day just about seeing as jelly fish are close to 50% of the bait lose,
