Edit: Yeah, Great Blue's fishing chart confirmed. Bugbear & Moblin masks from fishing there, mixed in with rusty picks/greatswords.

I'm now using Sabaki rig and just eyeballing I seem to be pulling up more masks. Any of the goblin/moblin/bugbear masks desynth into glass fiber. Fishing is getting me both Bugbear and Moblin.

Are you guys using low level fishing characters or something? I did something like 60 no catches, a few mobs (didn't count them but not many) and 1 rusty great sword on my mule (92ish fishing)... Did I just get a bad streak and should try again?

Yeah took off apron and puffin. And no I did lvl 100 like I said got some big streaks of no catches

Buddy that did it only has like 70 fishing, I couldn't tell you if it makes a difference in that regard as I haven't gone out there myself.

Lol just checked out copper ingots over here. 25k a stack. Or I could spend 3-4k on a stack of crystals and like 800-900 gil for 12 rings from npc... even a little cheaper if you can hit guild up. While yeah I know desynth fails a bit it's not that much and I often get 2 so it kinda evens out

30k a stack glass fiber, 30k a stack copper ingot, 5k a stack fire crystals, 4k a stack lightning crystals, sinking minnows on the AH sell for 8-10k each, meatballs 40k a stack. I really wonder at what point selling bait (or mats to make bait) is a wiser financial choice than actually using it all to fish.

Don't really need to worry about lightning crystals if you buying the glass/copper. Sorta depends on the demand of buying them. After all you can use them all eventually. And it wont lower the amount of income you make. But who knows how much of the bait will sell and how putting more up will effect the price.

Yes but items don't count the same. Some have suggested half which looks about right

I dont know, fishing is hitting some high peak on all servers. Everytime something got so popular to make money, SE was right there with the nerf/banhammer. My feeling is telling me that the next version update will kill something...

Considering how recent alot of these new fishers are I'm hoping it is something based on that. Like maybe how long you been fishing or something
