Use a composite rod with those baits and fish for those fish. You can skill up on "the fish was too small to catch with this rod" messages, but they don't count towards your 200-fish daily limit. Thus, you can fish for something like 24 hours straight instead of only 12.

Thanks (Was planning on actually fishing though so that 24-hour plan won't work, lol). I actually was partially thinking of fishing up my own Lu Shang's since I like completing quests but I think I might actually do better just farming up some gil and buying myself a bunch of carps.

And at 600 gil per NPCable fish you could be fishing to limit every day instead, that would be 6mil for fishing a Lu Shang's worth of fish.

Odd how that changes over time. Sometimes buying carp is decently cheaper (as it should be buying and trading 10k fish lol) and sometimes it's way more expensive at times close.

6k a Stack on my server and ~5M for the Lu Shang's. About the same price, basically.
