Forget the box. Let's not start on that again. Little proof is there but stuff says it's there and there are a few pics. Leave it at that

Definitely best to steer away from that topic.

Went fishing in the new area, w/e one starts with a M.

Ebisu + minnow = apkallufa !!!, fairly easy catch, never broke my line,
    ! was black ghost.

Didn't get any bites at all with meatballs, and just the ghosts with worm lure.

And before anyone asks, the apkallufa npcs for 161 :/

Went fishing in my mog garden with insect paste (my fishing skill is pretty pitiful and I'm working on a lu anyway) in the freshwater pond and caught a bunch of moats.

Considering what you get from the net(s) there may be more to catch; would someone be willing to go in there with different lures/bait to experiment that has higher fishing skill than I do?

I also can not see anything of value being fished up in mog garden. It would make fish botting far to easy. GMs are not going to randomly pop into mog garden's and check to see if your fishing or afk lol

I only had a few min, but so far the pond gets me nothing with dwarf pugil fly lure and meatballs, went in to test found out I have very few baits.

same with the ocean I guess you can call it that.

I was only able to catch Moats and Cobalts in the few things I tried in Mog Gardens.

deademoiselles in dho gates with a sabiki rig and a candlestick Oo.
blindfish dho gates shell bug - little worm - lufaise fly - robber rig - meatball

Where in Yorcia Weald is there a place to fish? I went there to explore and ten minutes in died from chigoes >.<

Has Cirdas always been fishable? I did some mining some time back but maybe I didn't pay attention. The zone to Yorcia has a river and I only caught Ulbulkan Lobters and bone chips.

Zaldon does not take apkallufa or deademoiselles

edit: Yorcia Weald G-6 next to the Ergon Locus

    Senroh Frog - Fly Lure
yorchete - Little Worm Zaldon most likely doesn't take it. Bastard.

Busy with summer haven't had time to log in. So it seems nothing of real value in terms of fishing this patch.

Well for the first 19 levels (which I know from experience and have so far only reached myself) I'd say to do the following:

1-11 Knightswell - Moat Carp - Carbon Fishing Rod + Insect Balls (you may catch Crayfish with these too, they will help get you up to level 7 but after that if you almost instantly take down the fish stamina just cancel fishing it as it's just a Crayfish. Since it's an outdoor area you may also pull up weak monsters.)
12-19 Mhaura- Yellow Globe - Halcyon + Fly Lure (fly lures specifically target only yellow globes at low levels in Mhaura, this is a great way to skill up without pulling up low level fish and monsters.)

There are full guides 0-110 within this thread that path out with Lu/without Lu, including Nashmau/not including Nashmau, using the too small trick/not using the too small trick. What you have posted is nothing more than common sense or something you possibly cut and pasted from any basic wiki guide.

Yes, I am being an ass to you in my last 3 replies. But I am not being an ass to be internet-mean, but to reinforce you should to read the stickies at the top of this forum, you should to search/skim/read the 500+ pages of fishing threads before attempting to "contribute."

So just a word of warning I think SE might start looking at fish programs since a report that looks like someone using killfish functions (who can't take the hint) just got put into the accept bugs http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...74-Fishing-Bug.

    they would have to rebuild the style of fishing for it to effect programs. And I do not see SE spending the time to rebuild where fish HP is ~_~;

if they do I wish they would of just spent the time making 110+w/e the hell with an E-Rod worth a damn outside NPCing fish that people bot for 20 hours a day.

Oh I didn't mean it might effect programs so much as he is kinda throwing in their faces that he's been kill fishing so they might actually watch it or watch when people get fatigue too quickly because they are kill fishing. Or worse go back in logs to figure that out

ah I see what your saying. Still As long as I zone I never seem to hit this fake hard cap this guy is talking about. I have to zone every few hours yes, but that is the limit of it.

Are there any bots that full on kill fish anyways and dont fight them? As far as I could tell most programs fight just like a normal person now. so what is this guy using that is casing it? or is he just noobing it up and using the "Kill" switch at 100% all I can think of.
