On the one hand I'm glad I got the silk finally, on the other hand kinda pissed I'm gonna miss a week of sweet sweet skill ups with Ebisu. At least I can use this to catch 100 fish because apparently all the millions of fish I caught years ago don't count anymore. Thanks.

No problem, same thing happened to me. I got both items on a Sunday and was irritated I had to wait. Can still cap out 110 without Ebisu though.

Yeah Im getting the 100 fish I need. Any idea whats best to get to 110? Abaia gives good skill but theres too much garbage fish in Jugner [s].

Oh at the time of my posting that, I thought the skill up campaign was going to last as long as everything else.

That being said, as someone who got 100 fishing in 03 or 04 and hated the fishing changes, the newer stuff (arrows, etc) seems to make it fun and enjoyable. Kudos to SE.

Did Armored Pisces until I got a first place fish awhile ago, took me to 105, then I capped on Cave Cherax since I needed the Dwarf Pugils.

Before the campaign I used the fisherman's feast you can get from login points as well as a skillup ring from the fish contest in selbina. I went from 103 to 110 in three days. I can imagine how fast it could be done using the campaign and fish that are regularly caught instead of the rare matsya.

I went from 98.8-110 on Thursday night on cherax using campaign, feast and ring. I think the fish total was 150ish. Skill up rate is insane.

I know you can get Duskcrawlers in Zi'tah, Can you fish in Ru'aun also? Or are crayfish from Zi'tah as well?

Ebi+1 #88 on Bahamut. Glad I got a cool number on it. A shame fishing is useless but everything is useless in life so it's all good.

anyone has stats on matsya catch ?
I've been trying to get a shawl and decided it's time to use some baits i've been saving.

basically one stack of bait gives me .... 8-9 matsya...
most of the time a cobalt jellyfish or a monster takes a bait, otherwise it's like a 75% line break rate on these fuckers...

(btw fishing 110, +8 on stuff, noddy and puffin ring, ebisu +1, mega mooglification fishing, advanced support)
