I was hoping someone can help me. Im having a hard time finding info on fish used in the Ranking Contest and the stats of those fish. Such as the smallest, longest etc etc..
Im sure Im just looking at all the wrong places but be great if someone can point me in the right direction.

So, recently I started getting fishing support before fishing Gugrusaurus, since it costs only a bronze coin and it's right next to the boat... I never really bothered before, and I'm probably just getting a string of good luck now, but my success rate really seems to have gone up a lot. I haven't done enough fishing with it on yet to say conclusively, though, but has anyone else expirimented with this?

JP fishermen on my server seem to do it as well. Everytime the ship docks, some people flee to the guild, and I was assuming support was the reason why.

I can't seay how much it helps though, I don't use it and don't go after Gugrusaurus. Why the hell am I even posting an answer ?

After a few more boat rides, it seems like those initial couple rides were just flukes. I've been back to average luck now. In either case, it can't hurt...

is it near the boat or a little ways away where you would need movement speed or flee? if not i'd buy a stack of 99 bronze just to hope that it works lol, can't even remember how long it lasts

It's right next to the boat, except on the upper level, so you need to run all the way to the stairs. You would probably need flee to make it in time between trips. But fishing imagery lasts a very long time, I believe it's 1.5 or 2 hours.

You can definately make it in time before the ship leaves, without any speed+ item or ability, but I guess they like getting somewhere fast...I know I do =)

I've been thinking about starting to save guild points for some of the fishing items finally, but wondering.. is it possible to have Moglification: Fishing at the same time as a Moghancement for any other craft? I know you can't have a Moghancement and Moglification for the same craft at the same time, but I'm not sure if you also just can't have the two at the same time no matter what the Moghancement is.

With gear, moghancement, and advanced support you can get up to 100+9 fishing skill. What does the lvl difference have to be to change from stamina regen to stamina depletion? I'm pretty sure its believed Lik and Gugrus are at least lvl 120 so I dont think the support make any difference aside from slightly helping bite rate.

Well to be honnest...I did 1-40 before patch, and it was awfully more painful than doing 40-100. Getting to 100 pre-patch was way harder than it is now, ring or not. Overall it took me 8 months to do 0-40, then 1.5 year to do 40-100 but I always fished for money over skillups...I made a little over 11M in the process.

Now to figure out what to do next to pass time and make money...

fishing imagry lasts a few hours? oh my god lol i'm so doing that, i thought it was like 5-7 min like my CC imagry was, then again it makes sense that its a hour-2 hours long since its fishing

I think the length depends on your level, but it definately lasts long, and you can obviously zone without it vanishing, so it's all cool

Not at all excited about 0/151 on gugru so far

1/44 on Lik though, so that wasn't too bad.
