The reasoning behind the 30-40 a day is because you will most likely snap and break your rod/line so much when going for them, that the total probably comes up to about 200. I'd say his estimation is about right, I've been hitting a sweet spot of about 10-20 fish a day spending the whole day going for it. 0/671 now :\

The trick is to become good friends with a bunch of people on your server with ebisu, and have them fish em up for you

As far as how many you can catch in a day, my buddy with Ebisu who was fishing them for me was catching about 20 per day, (guessing since he gave me 40 last night and it had been 2 days) but he doesn't spend all day fishing.

Now back to leveling and not thinking Zaldon is broken (although i'm 100+ marlin and still no item from one).

Hmm, would you recommend taking up fishing if you already have a craft at 100 and don't want to delevel it for WW for LuShang fixing after I reach the higher levels of fishing? I do like fishing so far but not if it becomes an incredible hassle to run to Rabao every time it breaks. This is assuming I want to hit level 100 Fishing.

Most of the 100+ skill fish are fine. It's just the few like Ryugu Titan, Gugrusaurus and Lik that will break the rod more often than not. Even a fish like Cave Cherax can break Lu Shang's, but breaks are rare enough that it's not really worth worrying about.

I am currently 89 Fishing, have Serpent Rumors. I also have 72 Woodworking (gotta fix Lu somehow when she breaks)

I've been reading all of the posts here, and sounds like there's some really dedicated Fisherpeople here, which is awesome.

Looking forward with interacting with you all.

BTW, I also have a mule that is currently 59 Leathercraft with 22 Clothcraft sub (a work in progress) so I'll be checking out the Crafting section of the forums on a regular basis. Hopefully I'll be making some posts soon in the "Amazing Crafts" thread and not so much in the "Amazing Crafts...BLOWN T3H FCUK UP!!1!!1" thread. LOL

been meaning to ask >.> i know almost for a fact this is false but what the hell might as well ask no?

i am 0/3 on the bub ring ; ; pulled up all 5 two times and on my 3rd ran out of time and only got 4 but still no luck on the ring. then i went 0/50 on marlin for the chart and was getting all pissed at him.

so i start talking to some guy who is trading in lik and he said that TH helps with this? now i have no clue but hay i guess maybe? i still dont trust it and i always seem to even out in the long run on things(outside PCC BCNM that shit is no 10% drop rate 0/22...)

I highly doubt that TH helps with that kind of stuff really...but it may, as posted above its never been proven or disproven so meh

I don't think TH helps with that that stuff just like it doesn't help with treasure chests,but if you seem to have good luck with thf go for it. It's pretty random I've gone like 0/30 and like 2/5 before doesn't matter job, thf, brd, pld, sam.

Yeah but he says he's got Serpent Rumors and from what I've read fishing Lik's and Gug's without your own WW skill or a WW mule beside you is a waste of time unless you pack around multiple Lu Shang's
