Well after spending 3 days on the ship waiting for pirates only to realize I had a sand charm sitting in my mog locker, I was pretty mad at myself. But once I was finally able to do Inside the Belly I went 1/16 on Brigands Chart! Hopefully I dont screw up the quest and can manage to get penguin ring to drop >.<;

edit: damn i screwed up, no penguin ring. oh well maybe next time

I have a question to some fishers who have ebisu rod and actively fished up their Gugrusauri for it. Today I went out and decided to dedicate my daily fishing to catching some Gugru for my second character so I could get a shot at Saber Shoot for him. It was going fine, I was fishing them pretty easily, but then I noticed that I was starting to get fatigued. Really fast. After the first 10 Gugru, I was getting "You must wait longer to perform that action.", I.E. fatigue setting in.

That being said, is there a cap to the number of Gugrusaurus you can catch per day? I counted up how many I had after I had concluded that I had become completely fatigued (No bites or anything in 50+ casts.) and it came to 20 Gugrusaurus. It was actually 18, but I had lost 2 due to lack of skill, and I think those count as caught fish against your stamina, so i'd like to know what happened.

I am at 100 Fishing with Ebisu, but I bought my Gugrusaurus so I wouldn't know about something like this. If anybody can shed some light on how Gugrusaurus affect stamina, that would be great.

That would sound about right from what i've heard, including my buddy who supplied me with gugru for my Ebisu, he would get me roughly 20 per day, never any more. Usually he could supply me with 30-40 every two days.

Since yesterday was my first REAL day fishing with Ebisu, I decided to push it and see how many I could fish.
I didn't fish all day but I ended up with 30 Gugru's and 37 Lik. Not a bad haul if I do say so myself. Now to bazaar them all =[ lol

It's quite depressing to spend 500k on a batch of Lik
and not get the item. It's like breaking a semi expensive
synth over and over and over and over and over again =[

On a side note I haven't been doing GP since I was gonna get my "Raw Fish Handling" for cooking but I have been slacking... Maybe I should just stick with fishing till Apron... >.>

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I just never saw the apron as a worthwhile item to spend all that time/gil/gp on. The number of items fished up has always been pretty minimal. I understand the logic that if you're not getting an item, that's an extra cast to reel in a fish...but the cost/benefit just isn't there in my eyes.

idk i'm a big fan of the apron. i'd say it cuts the amount of items hooked down to about 1/4 of what it normally is
