I'm getting pissed with rings... well more with penguin ring... Got 5 Albatros, 0 Penguin lol. Last night I traded 30 and nothing, and when get 1 brigand, nothing on chest... This shit need to be fixed!

like i said the caes where very fast last night, its odd i get that many that fast when fishing manta up too.

that was the 1st time i caped out on caves when fishing up manta(and friends)

Hey guys, i've been wondering this for a while but... are fish closer to your level more likely to skill you up rather then fish that are way above your level given you have the same rate of fishing them up? thanks

people say this. No clue if it is true, it could work like say other crafts much like this, however... you can get a .3 skill up at skill 99.7 so thats really odd too other crafts dont get that.

No. A fish 50 levels above you can give you skill ups, and will maintain the same skillup speed all the way to the cap...

Some fish just dont skillup ever, or remarkably slowly, like dils and soles, other will see you getting 4-5 levels a day, like trumpet shells. It varies.

Just gotta remember fishing rule #1, don't ever fish for skillups, fish for profit and let the skillups come as an added bonus :D

dils are as bad as soles !_!? why would they put a fish in the game that you could fish 20 a day yet get no skill ups at all. id fish none stop squids/soles when i could make like 6mil a day off them lol. went a week once without a skill up.

It didn't seem to take very long to go 91-96 in talacca so I think Dil give skillups normally just like other fish.

I know generally fishing I get a level every, ehhh 100~150 fish.

100 dils are getting me about .3 of a level, took me 3 days to pull off one level.

Personally now that I have ebisu, I'm going to skillup on cave cherax and stockpile the R/E bait, then use them and mass fish matsyas when I get the apron. Pchowwww

its way more then 10min. I think its like any other support for fishing( like 2hrs) its over 1hr i know that.

How long is it taking you higher-level fishers to cap out in a day though? At 51, I can't see myself fishing up 200 Ahtapots/Mercanbaligi in less than 6 hours. It's nice that I can do it while seeking on my PLD55 and I don't have to bother with the AH, but I can make my ~150k in a third as much time farming if I wanted.

What can you farm in 2hrs that makes 150k?
