Update: 0/363 on Liks
Wouldn't be bad if I can fix my own Lu Shang. Plus, there's barely any Ebisu fish seller on Fairy. =(

does maintinence reset the daily fishing cap? if so time to stay up all night ;;
I think they already disproved this on the matsya page on titanictus but I'll give it a shot.
I think SE should add a second zaldon character to nashmau, porrogo or something, that cuts open ToAU fish.
I'd like to see maybe some khroma ores or something, items like that.
Otherwise there's just too many fish in the game that have no use...
Good example is poor Mola Mola. What is up with that thing?
You could do more than that Im sure. I forget how many months whales would feed native tribes, but iirc it was a while. I would love to see oil be a major part of alchemy, obtainable via lightning crystal + whale. Not sure exactly what it would be used for. It's not like we use lamps/heat for anything in FF. Crystal power wut
What about things like khroma ore, or other expensive mats?![]()
wooooooohoooooooo i fished up a dil at level 20 @13fps
Is it normal to get five or more "You didn't catch anything." messages in a row in Nashmau? Sometimes I get a bunch of bites in a row, and then other times it seems like I'm getting about 2 fish out of every 10 casts. Is there some other anti-bot thing causing this that I need to avoid somehow? And no, it's not fatigue, I definitely haven't caught 200 fish today.
EDIT: Just had:

Seriously, is this normal?
Alrighty, i have a question that might need some confirmation. My apologies if this was answered a few pages ago because i remember it was brought up.
I'm currently fishing for a lu for a mule character using little worms at Knightswell. I think its already known, but eventually, after meeting some requirement your bite rate becomes 100% on moat carps(no items, 'didn't catch anythings' or monsters, period).
I was wondering if that's a hidden effect of the testimonial or a fishing skill thing. I can confirm it works on non-ebisu rods (hume is faster depletion than ebisu for carps).
So can any of you newer fishers out there or mid-level fishers with testomonials confirm that it is a testimonial effect or a skill effect? it would satisfy my curiosity.
Another question/observation. I remember precisely being fatigued at 200 fish when going for my lu shang's, yet recently i've been able to get between 209 and 220 before fatiguing. Has anyone else noticed this, or was i wrong all along?
Thanks in advance
