Goobbues: counter or not?

Do Goobbues counter? Wiki has them listed as Monks, but do they Counter? and if they do not, are they really monks?

Nope, it would make Apollyon NE goob a fuckton harder, he doesn't counter or guard though.

Think I've seen Ancient Goobbue counter. It uses Hundred Fists as well.

No regular ones though.

Elder Goobbues are WARs, I farm enough of them on BST to tell you that. They can double attack but I've never seen a counter, ever.

The lower level one's in like rolanberry or zitah are war/war as well, as far as I can tell. No MP, no noticeable traits other than double attack.

Also, just noticed that they give 2 TP per hit, instead of 1 like a MNK or NIN monster, just to add onto the whole "Not a monk" thing.
