Guitar Hero III setlist leaked + GH3 Discussion Thread

yea, ive never owned a guitar hero game so ive only gotten to play it at the store up until this one comes out. i can do well on medium and just finally cleared a hard the other day.

dunno how well i'd stack up vs others on hard ;p

Guitar hero 3 GET! Store got it in today and I snagged a copy, playing it now but I have a test to go to I'm on the setlist with black magic woman now, haven't failed a song yet, it's really fucking easy so far :/ 5* every song on my first try with the exception of a couple... I'm hoping the last 2 sets of songs will kick my ass I need a challenge Also I'm going to try and see if I can beat TTFATF on my first try...

Does anyone notice, and I'm just playing the 360 demo so I'm not totally sure, but does anyone notice the audio go extremely low in the very beginning and like 3/4 of the way through? I only have on audio plug in my TV and I think that's what's doing it.

Guitar Hero 3 is epic... downloaded the torrent and been playing all day, I'm stuck with 1 song left on tier7... I wanna play One gdi! BTW, the charts for a lot of the songs are AMAZING, its by far the best guitar hero out yet

Not particularly, my only fails on Expert occured on the final boss battle.
My only advice is to take advantage of the new HO/POs, they are crucial in these songs. Raining Blood is probably the hardest song in the tier, which is weird since its the first.

One isn't too bad once you get through those 25 seconds or so of craziness. Just star power there and hope for the best if its too hard.

I only tried One once and I failed then went back to raining blood... I failed at 93% on it I was just like >_> because I activated my SP too late. I'll keep giving it a shot.

I need help with Before I Forget... It feels so offbeat and I always fail in the first 15%, I can easily 4star every other song currently unlocked too, cept maybe the other tier7's, any tips? =/

Just practice your chord changes, it's all that song really is. And if you're having trouble with that be prepared to be fucked in the ass really, really hard by raining blood.

Raining Blood and Before I Forget are really entirely different types of songs. I can 5 Star Raining Blood, but my Before I Forget is still one of the three 4 Stars I have left.

I dunno, its really weird, its retardedly easy on Slowest, Slower and slow, but the difference between slow and full speed seems like a lot... I've been stuck on that song for about an hour now =/

Finally beat raining blood... fuck slayer. Anyways, through the fire and the flames is hard I've almost got the intro down but my hands start to cramp up after a while so I can't try it many times... lol.
