Yeah heh.![]()
Did you try finger tapping? Can hit the first 242 notes of the intro easy but then you miss the first note of the first sweep bringing the guitar back up lolOriginally Posted by Keno
I generally never play with my pinky so I can't reach for orange with that finger if I have to hold down green.Originally Posted by Awoir
Some people hold down green with the left index finger, then use left middle finger for red, right index for yellow, right middle for blue, and right ring for orange.
I can't do the whole "strum once and then put both hands on the neck" thing. That song is too fast for that. By the time I strum the first red and try to get my right hand up on the neck to do the hammerons I've missed one.Originally Posted by Awoir
Only way I can do the TTFAF intro is by right-hand (my usual strummin arm) on the green fret, then handle the other 4 with my left hand. This setup allows me to easily recover whenever I screw up since it's only the one hand that's actually tapping the notes.
Again, I prop the guitar up on my leg, use my right elbow to hit the strum bar, then use my right hand for the last 4 keys, seems to work well for me
Only problem with the leg prop is that it doesn't work well when you play standing up. ><
(unless you can balance on one leg the entire solo...)
I just put a chair there to prop my leg up on for the intro, lol
Hah, my brother just showed me an interested way to do it. He bits the green button, plays the other four with his left hand and strums like normal. I tried it and got through the solo every time, haha.... The only problem is that you have to have your own guitar and be sure you haven't had an itchy ass for the last few weeks.Originally Posted by Awoir
I have a friend who rubber bands the green button for it, that seems like it'd be easier than biting your guitar >_> (Just snap the rubber band off the button, still on the neck quick when the intro is over)
I'd technically consider that cheating. I think if you use something other than your body to press buttons or strum it's outside the rules.Originally Posted by Awoir
I reverse my hand to play it. (Pinky on green)
That's how i pull off the fast solos in RB.Originally Posted by MisterBob
Well, they got caipos for the real guitars and they do essentially the same thing. >.>Originally Posted by Keno
(sames my index finger some pain on songs played solely on the higher frets, no way in hell I'm bar'ing all them chords)
sigh my guitar is fucked up...when I hold the orange button down, sometimes it doesn't register, or registers real late. Fuckin a![]()
lol finally got the 'who needs the power' achievement on Hard... >.> 202k.![]()
Clean the contacts between the neck and the body, thats often the culprit. Also try using a rubber band to make it attach as tightly as possible.Originally Posted by Slott
And of course (I assume you already did this, but just in case...) replace the batteries. My controller starts doing wacky stuff when the batteries start to go. (They last around 25 hours of gameplay, for a reference)
I still can't do normal mode well. It seems like i cant react to Blue muchless orange, as I have 2 fingers do the work for Green, Red, Yellow.
