On X-box Live Leaderboard you can see people getting 848k on Through the Fire and Flames, I dunno what kind of % notes hit that is but it beats the 5 star cut off by 300k...That has got to be close @_@

not sure what 848 is but 838 was 96%, on ttfaf that's like... well over 100 misses I believe

edit: more like 250-300 I think, I'm not sure what the note count is for ttfaf but jordan is 1801 and it's like 1/3 as long and ttfaf has a fair bit more fast parts, and some just insanely fast shit

More of a general GH question, but...

I'm getting close to making the jump from Medium to Hard in GH2, and I was wondering about finger position. Is it always best to be in Position 1 or 2, or will it just depend on the song? I'm a little nervous about the leap, since I know adding the orange fret will involve a lot more sliding. :x

For me, I always work from red fret and upwards, and slide down for green notes. Best to get that rhythm going before it gets faster in Expert.

I keep my fingers from green to blue and slide down for orange, but when I have to play a lot of notes that jump from orange to red, I move my whole fingers down to cover that and then slide to green if needed.

When you get to expert, I suggest you have your fingers ready on red to orange, and simply shift your index finger up to hit green notes, it'll help a lot. Try practicing it from Hard mode, it'll make the Hard/Expert transition easier.

I believe the calculation was somewhere around 1.2mil assuming sub-optimal SP.
With perfect star power you could probably get 100-200k more
