Soo... after struggling for a while when I first started with having to tilt my guitar almost to 90 degrees to get SP to activate... I'm now having constant issues with accidental SP activations...

Like just now playing one on coop, like 25 seconds before the solo I just see star power activate... I don't even see a "tilt blah blah" message or anything on either board, just all the sudden it goes off. And then of course I get to solo with no sp and die in like 8 seconds.

yeah you dont send them the harddrive if nothing is wrong with it. My instructions were just to pack the xbox itself in some box they're sending me, and send it back to them

(woops think you misunderstood me) - toys r us is giving me a replacement receipt - so that I can send it back to microsloth and take advantage of the 3 year warranty.

Ok, I think I'm a retard for not noticing this but do those brighter notes mean you can hammer on or pull off for it? If it does, does it mean its the start of the HO or PO string of notes, or that shiny one is able to be HO or PO, if that made sense.

The big bright notes that look different are the ones you can ho/po.

All this time I really had no idea why they were different, before knowing that I had to judge if the notes were close enough together so I could HO or PO which left me confused several times when it wouldn't work.

At least HOPO'able notes are obvious in GH3.

It wasn't until going back to GH2 after beating 3 did I realize there were notes without the top-rim being outlined, and that was only noticeable (on my crap TV at least) until you were about to strum them. All that time I spent guessing if certain sections would hammer or not was pure guess-work...

Actually I don't remember the tutorial for HO and PO outright mentioning that the brighter notes are for that reason. During the practice part of the tutorial it most likely had all the notes as bright but I probably didn't pay much attention to that, I was too busy trying to look as cool as possible while I played to impress the E-ladies.
