That's how it went for me on hard, got a 96% fail and for the next like week and a half I couldn't even come remotely close. Didn't play it for a few days while 5*ing other stuff, came back and got it in 1-2 tries.

I wouldn't say RB's are very noticable; in a mass of HO/PO's, sure, but sometimes they're aren't as obvious

How do you unlock all 42 songs in career mode? I just beat it on medium and have 34 of 42 unlocked, do the other songs only open up on harder difficulties?

that means you have 34/42 beaten, since you don't have to beat them all to move on in medium

the only stuff to open up other than buying bonus songs or downloads is from coop, but those aren't counted on solo career



man, smoking while playing is bad. I just got smoke in my eye and screwed up in the middle of pride & joy, ended up with a 94% 2.777 mulitplier

When you beat them all the first time, you get the chance to buy Lou, I think. After that, when you get 5 stars on all the songs, you unlock a new guitar. You also get guitars for clearing the higher levels, too.

I'm totally not trying to be an ass so I'm sorry if it comes across this way but is Impulse really all that hard for people? I find it to be one of the easier expert tunes and probably one of the most fun to play in the game. My buddy actually learned to play it on guitar after he got into the tune.

It's at the low end of the harder stuff. There's not a lot of chords, or even really great spots to use sp unless you nail the toughest parts, so getting 5* took me a few days' practice.

I never played GH before I bought gh3 about 2 months ago heh, so I'm just now starting to get pretty good. Just posted it cuz 2.802 multiplier lol, got the 5 star by like 100 points.


edit: also I strum entire intro lol... downstrum... heh, can't keep up with that rhythm ho/poing it.

Impulse is one of the easier expert songs that are ho/po heavy... one of my favorites to play, too.

I am all for free downloads, but a full game devoted to Aerosmith doesn't appeal to me at all. Part of the reason I play Guitar Hero is to listen to new bands.

Is there anyway to not suck at repeative strums? Example, Rock you like a Hurricane on medium (Not ready for hard yet i guess), I must be jewish and have no rhythm, so what's the best advice to hit repeative strums, besides holding the fret down and praying?
