Guitar Hero III setlist leaked + GH3 Discussion Thread

A partial listing of the 40-plus tracks contained within Neversoft's upcoming music title Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (PS2, PS3, X360, Wii) has been revealed, detailing a number of songs from Aerosmith as well as other groups that are, in one form or another, close to Steven Tyler and crew.

In addition to expected Aerosmith hits such as "Sweet Emotion" and "Make It," the game will also feature Matt the Hoople's "All the Young Dudes," Cheap Trick's "Dream Police," "I Hate Myself for Loving You" by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, and a cover of The Kinks' "All Day and All Night."

While most tracks unveiled thus far have been master recordings, GameSpot reports that Aerosmith was forced to re-record several songs, including "Making It," as the master tracks were missing. According to the outlet, the game's tracklist will be roughly 60% Aerosmith, and 40% other bands that "either inspired Aerosmith, played with Aerosmith, or are liked by Aerosmith."

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is expected to arrive on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii this June. Read on for a full list of the known tracks at this time:

Honestly... maybe it's just me but I'm thinking the aerosmith title could struggle based on "Same old Song and Dance" alone... that was like the worst possible choice of all aerosmith songs to use and really isn't much fun to play in my opinion at least...

Wouldn't surprise me at all if a lot of people went "yeah I don't think I like aerosmith on guitar hero, especially not enough to buy a whole game of it."

They're not all that bad... Train Kept a Rollin' is a fun song to play on Rock Band (and hard too..), but then again it's not really theirs to begin with.

Same old song and dance is a very annoying song though, I agree... but I liked Dream On, so at the least i'll be renting this game.

Seriously, if you have a system that can get dlc, just don't even think about getting it for one that can't. It would be worth it maybe if it was like a $70 difference, but it gets really frustrating never, ever getting anything new once you open everything in game.

Basically if you're going to generally play it a bit every day etc you're going to want the dlc eventually, if you just want it to mess around with from time to time and it's $70 different, then meh.



Oh um... so I was playing pro face off exp the other day on pc right

I'm at the song picking screen and this guy's song title says Six.... I'm like wtf...


Then it changes to "Love and War" the drowning pool song, I picked something and yeah, it actually played this really awesome chart for love and war...


I know how to put customs into GH3, but like... this had the right title for the song, and actually gave me the same chart to play...

so is it bad that I just beat raining blood on expert but still can't beat TDWDTG on hard? I swear every time I try to play that song I get one of those sort of hanging notes that throws me off for an entire section and I just tank. I have come really close to beating it (very end of victory solo R a few times) but that thing makes my left hand so damn tired.

I'm not sure if you mean the song or the battle, but if it's the battle you must've fluked rabl somehow lol, after clearing rabl I was able to go back to hard and mess with lou for career score and it took all of like 3 tries to get to where I could take him pretty much to the end before killing him

if you're talking about the dlc ignore me and I have no idea cuz pc gets no dlc /sigh

So for some reason, all my DLC scores were deleted all of a sudden.. (my band was still there, and all the career scores were there as well as the songs you buy from the store...)

It's happened to me a few times, only when I get new DLC though. Lost a few FC's from it.

ya I'm talking about the dlc, which is just vicious ho/po combos for like 5 straight minutes... and for some reason the hard version is way harder than basically every expert song. I dunno.

If you d/l the packs through the GH3 store and not PSN/XBL screens, there's a chance that it will wipe your scores. A few of my friends learned that the hard way.

Is anyone here actually good on expert and has erten was wir saen? I want to get the 1mil co op achievement but I need someone good to play with lol... I played with a pretty kickass player earlier and we got 930k, but it was our warmup song so we dropped a shitton of notes (I was on guitar and couldn't keep an x4 on the long solo towards the end of the song, dropped a couple of stars along the way too so it probably screwed me out of a final SP which would've been enough for the 1mil..)

btw, Flannigans's Ball gives you about 600k~ for beating it solo, so you can probably also 1mil it in coop (technically The Pretender also gives around 1.1mil if done right in coop)... and it's much easier than Ernten, so it's worth a shot.
