Finally beat TTFAF.... now I need to 5* raining blood (204k atm.., need 225k~) it seems impossible.

Are you tapping flood? Might cover the gap if not.

And grats on ttfaf! Working on tapping the intro right now, can fc slower 99% of the time and can stop and restart at will, on slow I tend to get about halfway and can't restart for the life of me. Getting there tho!

Any advice on how to beat 3's & 7's on hard ?

I have fucking tried to beat that song for like a month, and I just cannot get the whole intro part down. When ever you have to do the red/blue, yellow/orange, etc. shit my rock meter just slowly drains and I never can win. I can do fc on practice for those parts, but the real thing all i can get is like 50%.

I just want to move on to the last set, so I can play Cliffs of Dover. That song is amazingly good and fun.

Yeah I actually 99%~ flood, my problem is the part that follows it (I am working on it though, it's the part where it goes green > green x5 > RY > BO > YB, fucking aye heh.

And thanks! It was weird, I always had a problem with the intro but I guess I was warmed up (played some coop and song tough songs just before so I was ready) and it only took me 4 tries to get past the intro (I actually made it to the end 3 times but lost my place like 3 seconds before the end so I ended up failing heh..) I was surprised at how well I did once I actually got past the intro, figured it would be much tougher. The x3 star power achievement in TTFAF was pretty easy too, I think I actually activated it like 6 or 7 times.

I struggle there but I've had the best luck sliding it, like, ry = 34, bo = 34, yb = 23 it's so hard to keep up with actual changing the base position of your hand there. Maybe could shift the whole thing and do like 34-34-12-1. Of course I'm lucky to get like 80% on flood so even if I get there with like 150k I'm only going to finish at like 170 lol.


I still got a long ways to go on ttfaf once I learn the into too, on the bass side of coop unless the other guy is insanely good and stays in green for pretty much the whole solo, we fail out at the part of I think it's so far away 3 where it looks like fast solo A, or right after ><

FC on chorus + flood is 70k without starpower, you should be able to get about the same without fc using starpower if you can hit those hopos, if you can elbow strum you can tear that shit up for like 85k without fc heh. If you're getting close to 5* while getting shit scores in flood I'd definitely work on that cuz when you go from rarely getting a 4 in there to keeping a 4 like half the time if you can find a good spot to sp you can get like 30k improvement from just an hour or so practicing it.

Flood isn't my problem, I need to get to the flood with 200k and i'm set. Problem is, I get to it with 180k after fucking up the part that comes right after mosh1.

I beat everything on hard but number of the beast for some reason i can't get that one... Even though its easy cult of personality is my fav song... hopo's are so entertaining there for some reason. 215k is my top :/

Don't let go of red playing #otb on hard. I mean, obviously when you're playing green notes... but you get what I'm saying.

Rock Band's #otb helped me a lot with GH3's version... I 5 star the gh version on expert pretty easily now, and before rock band's version I could barely touch it. Or maybe I just got better, idk (my bff rose.)

I suck balls at #otb expert I still haven't gotten the rhythm down for alt strumming it. I can do ok downstrumming but I die after about 2 minutes heh. (not like fail just my hand dies and I can't keep a combo)

Meh it's sorta easy really... red strums > yellow > red > blue+orange seems pretty simple to me now but yeah I agree, it's pretty frustrating if you don't get the groove down.. which is why i'm happy I played the RB version for a while heh. Downstrumming on expert = fail, it's pretty much impossible to downstrum half these songs... gotta get used to alt strumming. I thought I could get away with it but tbh Misterbob warned me that this would happen lol. I'm happy I got used to alt strumming now though, makes everything a lot easier.

The orange+blue part is what makes it a lot harder to combo for me on expert than on hard... you can't just anchor the red (or green) down... having to lift it up and then quickly go back can be quite tricky.

Keep playing the game, not necessarily #otb... in the long run it'll come naturally.

Honestly, a couple of months ago I couldn't even beat the last two tiers on expert, and now they're all 5 star'd to the point where if I do a little better on their solos i'd get FC's... the only song i'm still having trouble with is raining blood, but i'm not really trying to practice it tbh... that's how much I hate that song.

Well I finally cleared ttfaf expert, but on coop heh.

I can do lead or rythm on coop and clear, now to just get to where I hit just enough of the really crazy sp phrases so I can clear the real thing heh.
