That or you get a top loader for your PS2 and swap magic, don't even bother, just wait for the full game and buy it. My friends works at Gamestop and said they got en e-mail saying that the 360's guitar, even after claiming the guitar would be wireless all this time, isn't.

It's not wireless if they sell the stock GH2 guitars that sold with the 360 game. Maybe down the line they'll introduce a wireless version.

gamestops recieved a demo version of the 360 with a wired controller. the wired one is for the demo, i'm sure the actual games will have the wireless controller as promised.

PS2 is wireless but target has a bundle with 2 wired controllers

By the way the Guitar is very different this time as well.

ok so i worked today and looked through the emails.

what i'm guessing he was referring to was an email about a 360 guitar, however, it wasn't talking about guitar hero 3, it was talking about rock band.

Rock band will have a wired guitar for the 360, not a wireless one. that's what the email stated.

i caved and pre-ordered it, yay for credit cards.

I played the GH3 demo at gamestop while i was there on the 360...i really hope that it's different for the wii cause the 360 guitar felt very un-responsive and there are a lot of notes as well as hammer's and pull-off's that i'm 100% I hit but the game didn't register it.

I'm getting the wii version, I hope that was just cause it's a demo and the guitar is probably used by a bunch of retards that broke it at the shop.

I guess it might be better than the previous 360 one, but I dont' think it's nearly as good as the ps2 one. I was hitting notes perfectly and it wasn't picking them up, or doing hammer's and pull offs and it was like stopping right in the middle, and i know i hit them right.

Either way, i'll chalk it up to just being an overused guitar, maybe the buttons were getting broken.

I'm not going to play it much, since I don't want to ruin the full experience when I buy the 360 version, but I'll prolly mess around a bit.

Too bad it only got leaked in the 7 gig form for HDD users
