5-starred all the songs on the demo on Expert. WAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, can't wait to play Knights of Cydonia.
Tomorrow for me I can't waitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt @_@
So who wants to give me the soundtrack CD code so I can unlock those three extra songs? Supposedly the CD came out today. =D
fuck you, i used to work there, the stuff i sold was never defective :D hell, some of the best deals I got was by working there and hiding the good stuff till the price was zero'd out due to it being discontinued then asking my manager what I could buy it for. $300 car cd changer for $50 was awsome.Originally Posted by Exoduso
Wow, the Devil is tough. Took quite a few tries to take him down. Its kinda frustrating to pretty much FC all the solos and still lose because he uses Double Notes + Whammy Bar on you within 5 seconds of each other![]()
Man I need this game. Just 4 more days.
that is a boring fall of troy song
D:
other shit looks good, should be fun
Through the Fire and the Flames intro is a bitch, can't get past 3% currently, which is very frustrating since I can play the rest of the song fineOh well, back to practice mode!
Sounds like SixOriginally Posted by MisterBob
I actually never had too much trouble with Six. I managed to 5* it on Expert on like my 6th try everOriginally Posted by Correction
I'm pretty good at fast chord switches/rhythm segments. I'm pretty poor at sections that essentially require tapping to FC though.
Does the intro really require tapping? It just looks like a high-tempo version of 1 minute into Thunderhorse. Just hold down green and crawl down the neck with the rest of your fingers...
I suck, I can't beat the devil on hard even..![]()
Put a rubberband down on the green button. Then just strum like a bitch and move your fingers.
My original technique was something similar, but I consider the rubber band cheating. I'd actually flip my hand around (Herman Li style!) so that my weakest finger (pinky) is anchored on the green fret. However, rapid strumming is MASSIVELY penalized in GH3, and is no longer an effective strategy like it was in GH2. I've gotten the farthest by strumming at half tempo, and doing pulloffs for the high note to the low note. If you miss a single note and get off tempo though, your rock meter gets hammered.Originally Posted by Royal
Tapping is definitely the way to go here if you are good at it, as it allows your hands to move in the quickest possible fashion. If you slow this section down in Practice Mode, you'll be amazed at how much faster its going than you think. (When you hear the song, only half the notes are really emphasized, so you're essentially listening to it at half the speed the notes are played at)
So you lose more points? Damnit. They definatly made this game harder than the last one.Originally Posted by MisterBob
